Oh you have stout deadener?

IMAG0589_zpsc2ef28ab.jpgIMAG0588_zps08bdb4b6.jpg

Just over 1/8" thick.

once heated with a heat gun, it turns hard as concrete.

Damn, don't know how I missed that.

I've got a ton of that stuff to do the roof of the Jeep. As far as I know all competitors in Europe swear by it.

It'd very common in the euro competition leagues. Just very expensive here in the states to import because of the weight.

Badass stuff for sure.

I said fuck it and am building a low tuned wall in the truck tonight.

Heatwave shall be full of demos.

Sounds good, how low do you plan on tuning?

sadly, with my side constraints, I think I can only get it to about 39-40 on paper.

40 Hz should be low enough for good demos and a few hair tricks.

Windows done.

5% rears. 20% front doors. Needs some work but oh well.

Caps may be my answer to regulated voltage. I like!!

Caps suck unless all you do is burp. Don't you read the interwebz?

If you do run caps, you need a ton of batteries if you ever plan to play any music.

Figures that's the problem. Any roof flex when burping? I'm also curious how it holds up when you build the low-tuned wall :)

It's hard to find info about these things.

Of course I'd never let my voltage get that low it's hell on the alternator. But since it was, I figured I'd see how it went.
