corosion on negative batttery post?

i have a xs d3100r that keeps growing whitish greenish crystalized corosion on the negative brass battery post. whats up? is it leaking?

Probably bad, Had this happen to a buddies d3100 and XS kept calling it good but it wouldn't hold a charge. Sealed AGM batteries should not leak.

My xs power battery xp3000 has the same on negative post. White Crystal acid . But it holds voltage like a champ still. Anyone Els or anyone have any idea if that battery still usable

Xs power said it's ok battery, since voltage still holds 12.8+ . They said just clean it with water + baking soda + a brush or tooth brush.

Coca-Cola works just as good. Spray it down with some squirrel piss. Aka wd40 and ur good to go.
