Competitions or Events in Utah?

I moved to Utah with my job, and I have quite a bit of free time now, and I would like to get into competing locally. There are quite a few audio stores around Salt Lake City, but I think they all sell the mainstream products. Does anyone know of anything going on in Utah? I need something fun to do and get to know some people at the same time!

Not enough alcohol, too many rules, and a lot of Aryan looking people. Been to Utah a few times and that's all I saw.

ALOT of mormons, they dont have alot of liquor stores, but there are enough ...  I think a car audio event would go over quite well here .. lots of people with lots of money
