HDC3 vs. HDC4

I am in process of rebuilding my S10 for MECA's Street 2 SPL class.  I am  just torn between the HDC3 or 4 15.  I will be running 2 2200's strapped for power.  I can usual pull about 320 amps of current in the class so I think 2 2200's strapped at 2 ohms nominal would be an optimum choice.  So on that note, opinions of which sub to use.  I have had alot of experience with the HDC3's and found them to handle large amounts of power.  I just know for rated power, I will be going way past peak power handling on the HDC3, but I do not want to get an HDC4 and not be able to move it with just 4 k in power.

Even with 2-2.5k to each sub. Ive heard a few people gaining around .5 db from switching from the HDC3s to HDC4s.

 

I think most people will agree.

 

It all depends if you think its worth the extra cash.
