I will spend the next several days catching up this build log. I will be sure to cover the truck's history and how this became my new project. Figured I would start with a pic of it as the first time I had seen it in 2012. I have a few pics I have snatched up of it in it's earlier stages that I will share as well.

All I can tell ya...is this poor thing is just a ugly beast.

The roof ....oh my lord the roof..the external speakers. ...covering so much more wrong under them..all the screws , brad nails, and dents. ..mixed with bondo, bed liner, silicon, resin....you name it....

I did not initiate the tear off....I probably would have chosen similarly. ...but I can bet we both agree. ..leaving them alone would of seemed a better choice.

lots of work to get it....well...to just a state of okay at best.

You have the good dash for spl. No map pocket under dash.

Steve, this exact truck?

That would be too cool if so.

I am currently trying to look at some alternator options.

Trying to build what I can to keep the budget low for a bit longer.

These two singer 275a came from Acousta.

Sort of small power and they have the wrong pulleys.

So for now..I am just toying with the ideal of doing this route.

My original goal was something sort of high...20k+

I guess budget and opportunity will be the deciding factors. Time is on my side for now. ..no rush for a while.

This is the roof after cutting all the screws and brad nails flush.....sanded all the resin, bondo, bed liner, & silicon off primed it......since this.....we have used body filler to fill the holes and partially most of the dents.

For some of you...here is the first look into the cabin. .this is the port mouth.

Yes....the walls are rough.

And yes....the debris is from a brick of fireworks.
