Volume is pointless to discuss in port tuning as it is a side effect of what matters and not directly of any importance on its own

"For example" Moving air  from "point a" 100ft to achieve the same CFM at "point b" at the end, You have to reduce the volume/area to keep your desired speed. larger volumes for longer distances loses speed And IMO would create less unwanted noise..

 

 

I don't need any proof that people have degrees, I need proof that people have the knowledge about the subject they are talking about.

I know people that have a electrical engineering degree, but after they got it they barely know the difference between a diode and a transistor.

Port volume is related to tuning, since tuning is specified you can't alter it, so the only thing you can change is the port area.

You are right, but worded it illogicaly.
