How do I get RCAs on my factory head unit?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 Ford F150 with sync and the 4.2 screen of which there are no options for aftermarket stuff anyways. I cant find a unit that will plug into the factory harness.

I could do this and buy a headunit but I dont want too

I was going to buy this untill I saw that is was only good untill 2012. And upon further reading there is nothing for the 2013 and 2014s

So now I am not sure what to do to get my pre amps.

I found this but this is for a new stereo, not pre amps....

I must be retarded or something. I could get one of those  units that install on two speakers and will take the low signal from them but I also need signal for a front stage amp. Not sure what to do now?

I thought line out converters were for low level. Can you reccomend one for high and then one for low? Thanks....

They do make them for both high and low notes. Best be is to get one that does both and have a seperate processor that can seperate the signal more efficently.

OR spend the extra coin, get the adaptors for your headunit wiring, buy a good aftermarket HU, and do it right.

Line out converter (LOC)

Have a look at the audio control LC7i with an ACR1. That will give you what you are after. Put one in an F-150 today that had the factory Sony system.

Yes Audio control is going to be your best option to go with. It will restore the signal to a full signal.
