How big of a lift is that

My guess would be a 6" lift, but curious to see what it really is

4in rancho lift but it actually lifted about 5in. 35x12.5x17 bf mud terrains. I wanted a lift but I thought 6 maybe a lil much for using it daily. but I like right where it's at. I've gotta local box builder making me a ported right now. i'll have pics later this week of it. I wanna see what these icons are capable of. I made this midgate I have now, i'll probably make the next box I have. I've just been busy so i'll let the expert make this 1.

ok so i've had a plan by end of this summer i want 2 15in zcons. but until then i thought what the hell let's see what these icons can do in a ported box. so i had a local box builder make me 1. i picked it up tuesday, spray painted it, brushed on herculiner bedliner, and finally got it in today. i don't have a paint gun or air compressor, but then again it's not permanent. the new box is 4.51cu @34hz. i'm happy with the build of the box it's really strong, he put in some small 45's, he 45'ed the underside corners. it is a lil louder in the lows, but not as loud as i thought it might go. but then again i may be looseing alot to going into the bed. i am planing on cutting up the old box into a trim for the new to block this off, which i'll work on this week. i also painted up my plasitic under the hood a lil bit.

Plan to seal it off?  How do you like it vs sealed?

Yeah,im going to take the old midgate and cut out a whole that this box will fit into. That way itll act as a wall. Keeping the bass in the cab and not the bed.

well sealed the spectrom was atad higher. So i lost some of the higher bass notes, but also picked up some lower notes that i wasnt getting before. the lower the notes the harder it hits. Example i heard usher shorty i dont mind. 2,main bass notes in that, song. Before i hit the higher 1 but, completely died on the lower note. Now i get em both really well.

but but really theze subs did really well in the sealed box. I was shacking mirrors but not my bottles in the cup holder. Im still not shaking bottles. ive only got bout 1hr playtime on it so,far. Ive got more music to try out on it yet. but i,do know i want to for, sure still go with the zcon later on. I want alot more than just this cresendo 2k. Overall im pretty haply with it.

very cool!  I still have to build a panel to seal around my box too.  I can't help but wonder if I am losing some sound without it being sealed off. My truck LOVES the decaf stuff now, but still sounds great, even crossed as high as 100 hz.  But low stuff like Luda's 'how low can you go', or Drakes 'started from the bottom', it'll bounce a full cup of tea(Just call me Si,LOL) in the cup holder a fair bit.

So its been a lil bit since ive done anything. So 1st off i had to clean up,those wires to the battery. My wires kept coming loose. So i ordered these SSA battery terminals!! Wohoo love em (along with my ssa tshirt). Much much better, nice tight connection. I did 1 door inner and outer with murdermat i havent gotten to the other doors yet tho. About 1 month ago a local guy was sellin his,15in zcons so picked them up for $500. 1 is grey basket 1 is black. Im guessing earlier build vs newer build? Im sure its same thing and shouldnt matter any. Just had the enclosure built by a local guy yesterday. I cleared the front and hurculiner the reaat this morning. So i havent wired it in,or mounted the subs yet but pretty excited it looks sweet and, cant wait to hear these babies !!! If i can, figure out how,to post pics, again lol ....

Your going to be amazed. Zcons are nasty man. Even on that 2k you will be impressed. The guy i sold mine to had it on a jl 250/1 until he upgraded and it was shocking how loud it was on that. Great choice man looking forward to hearing your opinion.

I got em up n running today. Left a lil late finnishing doing it. I'm only 6 miles from home so i only had time to play 2 songs and a few test tones..... but the kid I got them from told me about how you were going to be it was pretty spot on. the icons I had really peaked fantasticly round 37-40 then faded. In that spot the icons were a bit louder than these. But these im not, sure where they peak its pretty even over a large span. They sure liked decaf- Downtown lol. Now i only had time to plug and run. I did do this with the back window out also so,thatll make a difference. But so,far so,good

So I picked up a few things in the last couple months I did change over from the focals tooth hertz comps. They are brighter and they are louder so in essence they go great with my subs. I just received the 2, crescendo 3500'ss yesterday and the recones for my zcons. While I do not need to change them now I bought them so I wouldn't have to wait a month in case I do blow them. The tpi o-scope I picked up a few weeks ago when I changed my front stage I set my amp with it then I went and checked my crescendo 2k and found out that I was only pushing 19 amps to my subs. So obviously that's messed up wish I knew something was wrong but I wasn't sure what not my problem was a while back I had electrical problems that puts an amp into protect mode a quite a few times but it always turned back on its always had power it's always play music last week I had to replace my to kinetic battery under the hood I replace those with 2 xs power s3400. This past weekend I also installed 2 out of my 3 d 3100 which I don't have pics of yet.  before I start at this whole thing over a year ago I checked into ofc vs CCA wire the only difference I could find was CCA corrodes faster and can't run as much current through I just recently found out that CCA wiring runs twice as hot as  Ofc. Which I found out the hard way  when I change batteries the amp wire going from the battery to the amp was extremely corroded an extremely stiff so needless to say I'm going to be changing out my way really soon.
