should I be worried?

Recommended Posts

Alright I have a 02 KIA Spectra, the alternator I am running is 300 amp. I have 4 cubeic box with two 12inch Zv4's. Its tuned to 45hz. I have recently upgraded my amp from a Hifonics Brutus 2500wtt to Sundown 4000 watt amp. I also have a XS power D3100 battery. All the wiring is 1/0 gauge. I am being told from friends that its fine for running a burp in competition, but not enough power for demos or sustand listening. I think I should be ok? Just second guessing myself. Hopefully I gave enough info?

I would add a volt meter, a 2nd run of 1/0, another g31 batt....and watch your voltage drop to see where you at...

Another battery wouldn't hurt, also do you have the big three done?

Also IMO I think those ZV4's would be happier w/lower tuning! They are Geared for low end output in stock form.

As the alt,it had to be custom made. Its a GM hybrid as I was told.

Big three was done with 1/0 gauge.

A new box is being designed with a adjustable pysco port. Basically 32 to 45 hz.

Well the amp is tuned. And db was measured, at 141.1. Voltage drop was pretty significant. But still workable. So two more batts in my future.
