How to capture 360 audio for VR video

I am going to make a VR video. I want to capture 360 sound but dont know where to begin. Any advices on devices or software?

im guessing you would need binaural audio. not sure what the best way is for you to record it.

Recording is always defined by playback.  Need to know more about your plans there.
