That is a test sample of the sink.  Shows how nice and beefy the heat sink is and how much surface area it has.  Meaning they don't need fans and run pretty cool.  :)

I'm double checking with the factory if it is anodized or electrocoated.  It is buried in my emails at the moment so I am checking to make sure first.
