What car is this??

Recommended Posts

I found this question and hoped someone here might know what this might be. Any ideas?

I'm thinking of a car. Has 3 generations. 2nd generation is the best.

2nd generation Came out in Europe in 2005 and hit the states in 2006-2010

Car has between "400-600hp" stock(not listing exact hp that would be too easy) . Its known for very high end speeds. Not a 0-60 car but it murders on the freeway.

Hint: Its not turbo charged or supercharged.

The BMW M6 fits the years...but not the 2nd gen is the best as it'd be the worst.

M6 came to mind right away for me as well. But agree with the second gen being the worst of the three and I believe it only came with one engine option as well? 5.0 S85 V10?

This is a great question. Are there any more hints?

Gt3 almost works...but 997.1 and 997.2 Then can't be generations.

When I was in Europe, it was all about economy. Most "street cars" had hoped up 4 bangers. One in particular was the Ford Escort GT. I drove a sharp looking Fiat hatch. Didn't know much about them, but it would go on those very curvy roads around Lakenheath and Mildenhall (cities close to the Air Force Base).

So if I had to guess European ??? Didn't know of anything front wheel drive making that kind of horse power.
