This sub is meant to do close to MAG like performance, but if you are competiting and doing well with the MAG stick with them.

pressure-wise or quality-wise?

They both have top notch build quality. As for out put the MAG is built to take more power, but once again its in the install. The MAG is a top end sub for sure, few come close. I am not going to make any outlandish claims about the ICON before it has even hit the market. I would rather its performance speak for itself.

Looks like I might wait for the Icon 15" to come out if it's going to be under/around $250 My SAE-1000D is going to want to push more than two mere 12" MTX 4500s...

We are waiting on the new dustcap ink and once it is ok we will have pictures of production models and be ready to get them out to customers.
