US Acoustics USX Amps

Are the USX series of amp built by ZED? If so, Any thoughts on them. I've seen some around and thought I might buy one some time for the heck of it.

I got my answer....Zed made the first series of them and then the plans got copied and sent to Korea. So yes and no.

That's the way a lot of business is run these days. My MADE IN THE USA GMC truck is half assembled in Mexico. Nothing against Mexico (I'm half Mexican ), but come on. I hope ZED got paid well for the design though.

I know US amps have their XT series made in Korea

and their merlin lines get their parts made US except for the board it's stamped in korea but the rest assembled in US..

I believe it is to get costs down...
