oh I forgot, the RF Fanatic Q's are very nice for the money, not to mention that some of the Crystal comps I have listened to recently have been very nice

If you check around sounddomain sometimes you can find Image Dynamics Comps for around that price range. Normally they are around 280-550 depending on what you want, either a 3 piece comp or a compression horn comp.

www.thezeb.com has all their a/d/s stuff on clearance. The top-shelf set is going for $329 IIRC. It is only a 5.25" set but they are some of the best speakers I have ever heard.
