2002 Caddy on bagz...8 Fi BTL 18's, 2 RF T15k amps (new vid pg 31)

heres a little clip so you know what im working with, ill have outside pics of the caddy if you guys havent already seen it in the background of my other installs collecting dust :D

.........project is started!! so far it will consist of 8 18" subs and the MIGHTY ROCKFORD T15K! This project might take a while since there is so much to do but here are some new progress pics.

yes, there is 8, 18" holes there and so far they may be facing eachother.

floor pieces in, back piece in......here is how it went down.

this is how i found the curve of the roof and side windows.......just remember, Cardboard is YOUR FRIEND when doing stuff like this :)

here is a handy tool, the "form finder".......helps with the crazy curves.

tape all the pieces together, add some too it where i any gaps occur........hey it happens!

Wow, just wow.

I didnt think that the 15k was an "true" amplifier. But i guess I'm sadly mistaken. How much did that damn thing cost

i think the MSRP on it right now is $25,000 but we paid $20,500 out the door......i said "we" LOL. Well i wrote the check but it was his money :D Ive also had the amp for MONTHS and MONTHS and he has never seen it so ya, its sorta "ours" i guess :D

yes its expensive.....worth it? who knows, ill find out. Fun? definitly.

wow. Can the BTL's Handle 6k watts Daily?

actually with 8 BTL's they will only be getting around 2k RMS each.....i like to overpower my subs personally but this should still get disgusting loud :D

you know me mayne, what makes you think there wont be vids? You dont want vids of the install though do you? Aint really anything to roll tape on until its functional.....gona be a long ass project so it may be a few but you KNOW ill have vids of course!

well those amp pics are old and it hasnt moved much till today. Me and dave lugged it into the caddy just so i can see how it will fit. I have plenty of room to do what i need to do....dont ask though, youll see.
