Ok well most of the box is 2 and 3/4" thick now. I just need to take out the front seats and get a little more comfortable so i can start glassing the inside up.

There is already hundreds of dollars in lumber.........why not a little more :D

Steve,

I know I may be quite late with this question, but how are you anchoring this thing to the vehicle? I think I saw some 4x4's or something like that, but I know something like this has to have some serious anchoring or chicken may not have a very good day in the event of an accident.

I ask this question because I will be engaging in a rather large build in my Tahoe and would just like to know more about anchoring down a wall of this magnitude.

1 port in the other tomorrow...i totally planned on a Squaro Port but since the flare is so big on those, i couldnt fit it. I already had to reduce the port to 144sq in. on each side from the 200 i planned so i didnt want to use an even smaller port just to get a flare on it. Anyway i thru a fat Round Over on it inside and out so that is gonna have to be flare enough :D

Before i start thinking about the face i needed to reinforce the front section of the bottom of the box. It is where the cargo area steps down and creates a cavity. I already have some 6 x 6 blocks holding it up and glued in place so i just added some more 2x4's to make it rock solid. Oh i still havent gotten to the glass yet :D
