2002 Caddy on bagz...8 Fi BTL 18's, 2 RF T15k amps (new vid pg 31)

Recommended Posts

yeah, not a big fan of the spinners.... make most cars look cheap in my opinion.

once people could buy them at walmart for 50 bucks... the whole class part left them in my mind...

and i know this is going to stir some chit but i was reading n canadian car audio that that amp will never do 15000rms for more then 3 seconds.

so its more of a 15000W max amp...

i hope this install can better evaluate this amp.

i would love to know what you do for a living to be able to afford all that.

Its not his he just works on it (and does a damn good job at it!) "Chicken" is the guy that owns it.. his family owns a casino...

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!! Who cares what the Caddy looks like. This thread is about the car audio build going on "INSIDE", not what the truck looks like outside.

Chicken family owns the casino or Steves family owns a Casino ?

I thought Steve worked at a sheetmetal/AC shop ?

I am a 5th year sheetmetal AC apprentice and i could recognize a press brake in the back of one of his build logs a while back... Not many construction shops use press brakes...

You've got to talk him into different tail lights and grill. Also the decal on the windshield is pretty bad.

I know you have an eye for that stuff, but not all vehicles owners do :(

settle down man..

those pics are a few years old. For sure the sticker is going........dont know about the tail lights. The grill is fine. Maybe ill change it, maybe i wont, it looks fine to me. Its not stock. Dont worry, ill decide what looks best and if you dont agree youll probably hook yours up different. We dont all have the same taste.

amen to that!

philip that makes sense since the press barke is used a lot to make metal flashing, gutters, roofing panels etc etc....

I work at Commercial Sheet metal and we do housing Central air conditioning, metal roofing, Kitchen stainless steel, Commercial AC, Gutters, and general sheet metal..

Oh we were the sheet metal company that was used for that Extreme make over show they had in Kalihi... WOOT WOOT...

ya the spinners are gonna probably be gone.......these aint walmart spinners though. I know what you mean about the hubcap spinners ruining it all, it did for me too.

Here is some good readin' on the T15k......dont listen to anyone who has no experience with this amp because to be honest, unless they have some they dont know what they are talking about.

ill let you guys know how it sounds when i get to hooking it up. It will be a while though since we have lots of stuff to do, plus ive been working on my house the last few weeks.

being a homeowner, sometimes you HAVE to break off some love for the pad. Ill be back on the caddy very shortly.....

You got to be the man of the house as well. Is doesn't make much since having nice cars while your house needs renovation. Some guys trip me out with that. They put a lot into their cars and their house is lacking the attention it needs. Me personally I am going to school for construction management, welding, architecture, CAD, and audio just so it can look good as a business owner. Well I am almost finish welding and CM, but I start CAD next semester. I want my house to sound just as good as my car and look just as good. I wouldn't mind seening how I measure up with my next setup against you Mr. Meade.

Yeah in our apprenticeship we do Welding (MIG, GTAW, STICK)..

We also do CAD (AUTOCAD for HVAC though)

Loose good to see another guy that's in the same employment area lol

Might as well do it all while I am still young. Its funny because I never said I would do all of this, but I now want to make myself as valuable as I can. Music is just my hobby but I now say I am going to get certified in that. Besides its kinda hard getting business when you haven't been to school for it. I must say that I have the utmost respect for you HVAC guys. That is something amazed me when I really got a crash course in it. But my knowledge of audio helped me learned it easier when it came down to powering everything.

(had my house flipped with some new stucco and it took up my work area for a few)

anyway today i start pulling everything out so i can Hush-Mat it down........and then after that i can finally use glue, nails, screws and whatever other fasteners i can find to put the wall together permanently. :)

of course ill update when i have some updates.....may not be anything COOL to look at with all the deadening i have to do but at least it will be progress
