Ok, Im no expert but this is the first time seeing this piece in any subwoofer. I have an Fi Q 12 (2010 Version). I took my box out today for some room for a road trip and i come upon this piece inside the subwoofer box. I have the Pics link here. Its round about 1" in diameter. If i can cut cost without buying rear stage, I can work with 250-300 in price. Do you recommend Hertz HSK 165? I think i found a forum site that have it for 235 (used) shipped. Other then Hertz, what other would u recommend for CS within 250-300 ? Edit note : Would the Cadence iA4 enough to push the Hertz HSK 165?

im not set on anything on the list , as im not in a rush to get them. I still trying to pay off my car so im getting piece of it here and there. I was working a budget of $2k b/c I can probably get it all by the end of the month. But if i spread it out in a couple i can work with a higher limit. I want to get the Hertz HSK 65 but no where to be found here in ohio :/ not as of yet. Do you have any suggestions towards a better front components? Shiz

Well, I been stuck behind the newbs wall for the first couple post, but YAY, im FREE!! hehe. Anyways, Im looking for some advice about my next setup. I have most of the components picked out, but is open for discussion. Im into SQ and my breaking limits is $2k. All this will be going into a 2001 Lexus IS300. This is the list I came up with so far: HU : Eclipse AVN 5510 or 6610 ($450 - $550) Front : ID CTX65cs ($180) Rear : ID CTX65 ($160) Sub : Fi Q or Si Mag v4 (12") (Both price at $250) a little unsure about which to get Stage Amp : Cadence iA4 (owned it - got it for $200 ) Sub Amp : Saz 1000D ($280, if i get it by the end of the month) Wires : Knukonceptz + Rca & 1/0 ga for BIG 3 (~$160) The total comes up to be $1780. Thats if I buy most of the sale items by the end of the month. Like I said, this is up for discussion. I can change a few things if its within reasonable price I think what i have here is a good setup and price for a good SQ ride My main concern is the subwoofer. Im having a hard time going straight SQ (Mag v4) or SQ with the OoMPh, SPL (Fi Q).

I ... O ... (just in case there are some buckeye fans out there) well, just trying to find if there is any members here that lives near Grove City, Ohio or Columbus, Ohio. Im still deciding on which Subwoofer to get, so I just wanna know if anyone have SQ subwoofer along the lines of Fi Q or Si MAG v4. or in the price range of under $300. Maybe we can meet up for a drink and have a go at the sub? TIA

Any thoughts or comments about this setup for SQ with some SPL would be great.

hey sup guys and gals. Just wanted to drop in and join your forums and hope for a good community feedback and learn a few things. Im an audio enthusiast, but have been out of it for the last 5 years... (no car) I've been out of the loop with what good sound quality is as well as new developed subwoofer. So I recently bought an is300 and trying to work on buying pieces to fit the car sound system. So far, on hand i have is the Cadence iA4 for my components. Im still shopping around but not in a rush to get everything at once. So, for now, I'll stick around and learn of a few new things to come
