z1 is what 3000 watts? Im not too fimil with the new ones but the old ones took quite a bit more then they were rated at. I would think it would be pushing it close, for the average person i think it would be okay. Just watch the cooling

no what I'm saying is I have a MJ-18 and I dont think it would like 1500Wrms it would probably fry, they dont get much louder past 800Wrms or at least the old one's were like that

Jeremiah is right, the MJ is not a volume monster. Beyond 1kw they wouldn't put out much more, so don't invest in something that goes beyond that.

Best,

Mark

I *think* Rudy did a 143 with a pair of MJ's sealed and 2kw. If this is loud enough, then great.

146.3 db drag legal, sealed 6.5cf box for both subs, Earthquake PH-D3 amp running them.

They don't get much louder past ~700 watts a piece.

but do they hit hard though?

2 Old MJ's tuned to 9 Cubes @ 33hz

Did 139.2 64hz

BR 133.2 @ 29hz

Oh, off of 600w Total.

That's it?

Are you sure you had 600w or your tuning was correct? Seems awfully low...
