  1. Alright im not realy sure about this so ill ask it here. I ordered 2 18in D2 Single stack recones with highxmax coils but there not flatwound. Is my order wrong? im under the assumption that these should be flatwound for better power handling and cooling.

  3. CA glue

ca glue would work, if the positive tinsel lead wouldnt have broke off lol. and we think the coil was damaged as well. but it doesnt matter, never expected a warrenty. just thought i would mention it. so settle down people...

yep i was there and seen it was really weird how it came clean off from the basket.. oh yeah dont let anton fool you guys this jeep is really not that loud even thou it pulled a 152.3 with ONLY 1800 watts... :jon:

yeah a 152.3 with 1800w with a bad woofer reading over 6 ohms and a fucked glue job :P day after it did 155.9 at 5000w clamped with the same bad woofer. and i still have more power on tap

  4. 2 sundown 4500ds.. or 2 AB 500.1s.. or 2 crescendo 5500ds.. or 2 dc 5ks.. or 2 Cactus 5ks.. Whatever you are familiar with.. that is what is being ran, lol

    :lol2: nice ...

im the owner of this jeep. and yes some how the spiders riped clean off the spiderlanding. Just like anton said. I need some recones. Id like to get 21in recones would be bad ass and i would like this to be a specal build. I love my fi woofers. Iv had these woofers for 1.5 years and never reconed them or had a problem with them, probley 1 of the most bad ass woofers around

  5. The heatsinks are monstrous on the N2. When mine was inverted I ran it hard for about 30 minutes, felt the motor/heatsinks and expected it to warm my hands... it was cold. It was about 45 degrees out, but I was bumpin hard at idle with the car nice and toasty

Since then I flipped the sub around, so I can't tell how warm it got, but I did some pause burps and 30 sec music runs at 3200 watts off a SAZ-3500 with no issues. I'm going to run around 3k for NESPL, don't foresee any problems... I'm sure I could run 4k+, but I'm saving that for my world record run for stock class with a N3 woofer :)

:fing34: Yeah Fi realy did there homework on there new btl line up.

  7. Alloy 1100 or a slightly altered version Alloy 1145 is outstanding for conductivity! However, it does come at a price!

If you want to save money and go with a less conductive material, you can use alloy 6061. Alloy 6061 is approximately 20% less conductive so you will need to increase thickness to compensate.

It is true that bars can handle more current with more surface area but i don't know how wide you would like to go to compensate for thickness, hehe.

I usually like to go no wider than 2".

    alright kool. thank you shizzon
