  1. I was goin to go with 2 18" or 2 15" nightshades. But I decided 6 sa 10s would be better.. but idk if i have the room.. i measured my cargo area in my cargo area in my 00 jeep GC. length= close to 52". Width= close to 29". height= i measured 17" but i could go a few inches higher. any sugg from yall?!

  2. Honestly, a single 250XP and a couple batteries will be fine.. I would run our PCM bypass and internally regulate the alternator just because it will run stronger on your vehicle which runs an extra $80, but it's well worth it on vehicles like yours.. From our experience with the amp your running though, 250 should be plenty.. Rob

so no dual bracket will be required.. just replace my oem alt?

thanks for all the help guys.. much appreciated

replace stock with DC and your a happy camper...

    :woot::thanx::dancing: thanks guys!!

  4. Are you planning on running extra batteries? If so, any idea on which models and how many?

yea im planning on xtra batts. probably at least 2(IDK if i need more) and no idea on which models.. thats one reason why im here on this wonderful forum :woot: , maybe someone can help me out with everything I need

  5. So i talked to Kyle and he said I would be plenty satisfied with a 250amp alt for my jeep. Im putting in 2 18s NS v2 and a single 4500.

And eventually upgrading doors speakers. My question is will i just replace my oem alt with this one or will i need a dual bracket?

  6. Im getting my Jeep Grand Cherokee ths friday. then gotta save up for sound system. im trying to get 2 18" NS v.2.. But idk if i need dual 1 or 2ohm. this will be for daily use(only listen to rap) and the occasional comp(maybe). 2 saz2500? 1 saz4500? i really dont know which would be best. Im in MOORESVILLE,NC, so i know a lot of people on this board are near here. Even the sundown audio warehouse!! lol.. i met jacob and a lot of the team members back in march in daytona for SBN. I know some on can help me here!! SUNDOWN FTW

  7. hey man my current setup is (WAS i am in the process of getting 2-12inch ns in a 6th order box)

    2-SAZ2500

    2-15inch NS v1

    2-NSB90 (batteries)

    1-H/o (220amps)

    1- Big 3 in 1/0 wire

    some sound deadener

    2-(sets) Zapco RB 13.2 (comps)

    1-SAX100.4

and that is about it! i hope this helps you with your decision

I used to have 2-15inch NS v1 in a down firing 4th order box but i am changing that to 2-12inch in a taped 6th order horn box design. see in my little car i didn't have enough air space and i was choking my subs out so in the long run i am switching to 12's to give them the ideal air space!

    with 2-15inch i hit 146.98db's on tl

    with 1-15inch i hit 145.00db on tl

at any rate there you go!

Thanks a lot CrazyKen! That gives me an idea of what Ill need. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee so Ill have the space for 15s

  8. Im planning on getting 2 15" NightShades v2 and was wondering if I should go with 2 saz2500s or 2 1500s. i know SD underrates just about everything so what do yall recommend? Also what else should I get as in electrical. how many batts and im guessing i would need a HO alt? Ill most likely do the big3 as well.
