I have a 1200d coming and I need just 1 12, which will be going under the back seat of my silverado crew cab. So depth is limited to 7" max Thats figuring in the MDF and leaving another .5" from bottom of driver to the board. Im hoping I can go ported but if not then itll be sealed. Do you guys recommend going with the ICON or the BL with all upgrades The 1200d is supposed to do almost 1500w rms at 1ohm so Id like to take advantage of all that power

I have a 07 silverado crew cab and Im going to go with 1 12" downfire ported box. How do I know the size of the port Ill need? Also the amp I just bought is an sundown 1200d V2 Should I get a SSD with all the options or a BL with no options? Money is an issue, so if I will be fine with the SSD please let me know, keep in mind I would get all upgrades with the SSD

do i select the upgrades and will it only charge me normal price? Or do I just add a BL and you guys will do the upgrades for me at no charge?

I have had 3 crew cab silverados I will be going 1 12" BL ported, firing up and throwing a sundown 1200d to it My past system was 2 12s in a sealed box firing up but probably only getting .7cu ft per sub. with a RF Power 800a2 running it and it wasnt too bad, but this 1 12" BL ported should be way better How did you raise your seat so high? Got pics? Im curious cause the only thing I know how to do is put about 1" of washers on the bolts lol

I would say get a SSD dual 1 ohm so you can wire it in series to 2 ohms or get a BL dual 2 ohm so you can wire it in parallel to 1 ohm. If money is an issue than get what you can, why are you asking us (get all options for either subwoofer). You should 12-16in^2 per cubic foot of internal volume in the enclosure. sorry Im not familiar with the port specs you gave me. Youre saying 12-16" and to have a port for every cubic foot? Also I have the 1200d coming so doesnt thata give me most power at 1ohm? Id need dual 2ohms to wire into 1ohm right? dual 1ohms cant be wired to 1ohm?

how does the ICON rank against Fi? Like which sub is its equal? the BL or the Q? Is the ICON a good sub for sealed and ported or just sealed?

thats what I want to know too I cant wait to get mine, I should have my sub and box ready within a week

I dont know cause Im not sure how much the wood would take away. And how do I know my frequency range? I wouldnt mind doing a forward fire box aslong as the sub can be protected from people getting in the back seat. How can that be done? And the 07s have less room than the 99-06s

So I have a 2007 silverado crew cab and want to put 1 12" Fi BL with all the upgrades and a sundown 1200d in there. My deminsions for what I have room for are 55"long x 15"deep x 4.5" tall at the back and 8" at the front of the seat to the floor. In the middle its 6.5" Im going to probably lift the seat about 1/2" as thats how much thread I have to work with and theres no seat raising brackets yet for my truck. Im looking to do the 12" in a downfire ported box Can someone tell me if this would work or not? My sub would be 6.5" deep and my depth of the box is Im thinking going to be right about that.
