  1. Since he's looking to save room he may be interested in the aero port.. but you may only save bout .5 cuft or so..

That's one of the awesers I was looking for! I was hopeing I could save more room but if that is the max I could save or close to it then I guess I'll just have to compromise and go for the slot port.

  2. Yes, a supergauss motor.

We’ll start off with a little bit of background information about the development of this technology. This is the first generation of Supergauss motor technology and was developed and licensed specifically for industrial applications. After the termination of the two-year contract with our clients and them phasing out of Supergauss I and into Supergauss II and III, we are now offering Supergauss I to the Car Audio market. Pictured above is the Patent Pending Supergauss technology that we’ve transformed into the car audio scene. This very unique design and specific arrangement of steel and ferrite results in a one of a kind ultra high gauss motor. We’ve been testing the past few months and we feel that this will be a great addition to the Ascendant Audio product lineup and should prove very potent in the SPL and extreme daily driving arenas. Our first product to be featuring this technology will be the new SMD Series of subwoofers (making a radical departure from the original design we had intended for the SMD and as previously pictured).

With 40-60% more motor strength in Supergauss motor structure vs the same parts count in a conventional arrangement, Supergauss will be shrinking conventional motor structures or greatly extending the flux densities for SPL applications.

    O.o, thank you.

  3. does anybody else find it odd that this hole is so ... you know.. near perfect from top to bottom?

I figure a sinkhole would just be a caving hole that got smaller in the width the further down it went...

It almost looks as if there was something there a long time ago... and somehow was paved over for years until now...

    the aliens....Their here!!! lol

  4. Drive 2 hours to AUDIO CITY in La Puente ,CA I got my amp installed and they did a good job and my cousin got his two 12 RE's right there and a hifonics 16010 at downtown LA, and an EQ and they installed pretty good.

i'll think about it, seems really far, but it might be worth it.

Most car audio shops don't install correctly, and the good ones are hard to find.

And most of the shops that say they are proffesional aren't.

    This.

well, i'm trying to see if i cant have them upgrade the Big 3 and then just run some wire, hehehe. then ill install the amp and sub myself.

  5. Lol sorry about that. I was running off of pure caffeen. And no bassaholic, it's mine, I can tell you that parts though. It's a beast of a computer.

  6. 1) I never would have thought that this topic would get so heated. While you may think this is very off topic, I love it. It helps me decide between the 2.

    2) I have heard of Db-r and I have checked out his website. He didn't have any 1500.1's last time I checked. And trust me everyone, I would get a sundow as soon as I could but like alot of 16 year olds I'm not rich. I'm quite broke that's why I'm going with AQ. I've seen the amp in action and ppl say it's a good amp, and some members on this forum even have some.

  7. You guys are making shops out to be blood sucking, wrong doing, stupid, and scammers. In all honesty, yes there are some shops out there that are indeed bad; but that's not 100% the case. There are a lot of good shops that do good work, won't charge out the ass, and people who do this for a living and need to make a good name of themselves. It's with ANY shop it could be transmission, wheel, etc they can ALL mess you over no matter what. Find a shop ask to look at their previous installs, work, most have portfolios as any artist does.

    :suicide-santa:

alright, I'll drill them with questions and see if I can also do it my self...

  8. any body get a little depressed when they join either a new forum, or new website that allows friends and a little thing pops up saying "you have no friends" or "click here for friends" but you has none?

Behold my ability to be SUPER random.....

  9. I don't like the look of that place.

I am 99% sure that installing your own system will have ZERO effect on your warranty.

My dad sold Chevy's for years and I worked in the back, and we would often get truck and cars with systems and we'd be doing warranty work on them.

alright ill look into the warranty, my only problem would be finding out how to do the Big 3 and feed the wires through the firewall. im not handy at that but i think my friend could help me, he and his dad are huge car guys.
