Based on the blind followers who know very little about Obama, there is a very large number of young, weak minded sheep in in this country, so the research you mention is interesting. You can be a young, weak-minded sheep and still move away from religion. As someone who very frequently discusses religion, I can tell you there are a very large number of uninformed, young atheists who have no idea why theism has failed them and can't provide a convincing supportive argument for atheism other than evolution or the series of misnomers in the Bible. It's a youth movement thing and, like most of them, it is coming from largely uninformed people who think they know a lot. I like to think I'm an exception. But as a realist, I understand that you will always be wiser as you age and, thus, thinking you have answers to big questions in life when you're under at least 50 seems a bit naive.

Sounds like things are starting to catch up with Obama today. We'll see what the votes have to say at the end of the day.

There is no separation of church and state now. But recent research suggests that a larger % of the population is moving away from religion altogether in the US; a separation may be possible, if any church still exists at the time.

Tempted to get that Ultra-Deluxe edition. Would be an understatement to say that I disagree with most of what BaseBaller had to say there. Would you mind explaining a couple of things you don't agree with? I mentioned a little bit in that thread (ie. compliance actually increases as does efficiency, whereas he said both decrease). He also made mention that the effects of polyfill are largely unrealized with a subwoofer, which is completely false. With the exception of filling for the sake of absorbing higher-order harmonics and standing waves, polyfill is of much more use in a subwoofer as response is very compliance dominated. An enclosure is analog to an electrical high-pass filter and, thus, a filter that typically falls right in the middle of your bandwidth (in the case of a sealed enclosure) is obviously very important.

It really is for the most part. But I keep pushing through. As I have become more self-aware and more "learned", I become more depressed. This is something I've been struggling with for 3+ years now. Dunno what I come across as online but it's a different story in real life, particularly when the headphones come off. But we all have our struggles. Which is an even worse feeling.
