  1. Alright, i made a rough sketch in google sketchup, not sized at all just random measurements but this is how i want it look, and the specifications i was thinking about using.

    The port is partly external because i will be firing it through the rear deck of my car. Tell me what you guys think! (Still working on perfecting google sketchup)

    Net volume ~ 8 cuft

    Port Area = 144in2

    Port Dimensions = 9 x 16 x 37 (length)

    Tuning = 32hz

    Sub will be facing up aswell as the port.

  2. Alright, so somebody in my class is looking for a subwoofer for his 1500 reg. cab. He will most likely need a shallow mount subwoofer im thinking, but i havent been able to find a build log of a regular cab so i can get some ideas for where the box is placed ect. Im not really knowledgeable on shallow mount subwoofers so id think id ask you guys. He was looking for about a 12" or 15" sub. If you need more information just ask.

  3. Alright, well i can fit a 7.5 cuft box in my trunk, and they only reason i was thinking about running 3000 wrms is because i already have an AB 100.1, so it would only be like another 200 bucks and i can strap 2 of them together. Right now iv got a 5.5cuft box with ~16 square inches of port per cube. Idk, just shooting ideas.

  4. Hey guys, I know iv posted so many topics about my box but its time for another one. I WAS going rebuild my box for my 18" BTL N2, and make it closer to 7.5 cuft net. Iv been thinking about future upgrades though, and im thinking in the end of it all ill be powering my BTL off of two AB VFL 100.1's strapped (3000wrms). Now with that much power to my subwoofer, would 7.5cuft be a little too big? Iv been talking to one or two people about it and they said it might be a better idea to keep it around 5.5-6 cuft with that much power running to it.
