It was a nice day, and the shop is closed on sunday so I decided to break out the old TL and do some testing. At the moment, the ports I am using are for testing purposes, just form tube, no fibreglass enforcement or even flares for that matter, so I know there is still more I can squeeze out of this.
All testing was done with Two 15" Icons on a Crescendo 3500d (At 2 ohms keep in mind). Pretty basic electrical with only a single kinetik 1400 as a second battery.
First Test : 6.cuft / 8" formtube tuned to ~27hz
30hz - 137.94db
35hz - 139.19db
40hz - 141.53db
44hz - 143.20db
46hz - 143.52db
Second Test : 6cuft / 8" formtube tuned to ~ 33hz
30hz - 138.23db
35hz - 140.03db
40hz - 142.07db
44hz - 143.68db
46hz - 144.01db
Third Test : 5.8cuft / 10" forumtube tuned to ~33hz
30hz - 138.90db
35hz - 140.63db
40hz - 142.95db
44hz - 144.48db
46hz - 145.11db
It was a good day.

The high end kicker amp kits are very solid... Everything fits perfect, tech flex on the power wire, extremely solid crimped terminals.

Alright, so my boss finally warming up to the idea of making a wall in his Cavalier for our shop demo car! Now, this isn't 100% going to happen, but I'm excited and want to be ready for when he decides. I know this place has a ton of knowledge, plenty and plenty of people who have made walls. I guess I'm looking for just general rules and/or tips to make sure it will turn out well. Iv decided just to make a normal, flat and vented wall. Leaning towards 4 15's with a nice big slot port on the drivers side. Any tips are welcome of course, thanks guys!

Check out the SSA store, multiple quality subwoofers, all built for different applications. There needs to be atleast one SSA subwoofer that will suit your needs.

Iv got two 15" icons in the trunk of my impala. I built it inside the trunk. It came out to ~6 cuft, with a 10" aero port tuned to about 33hz. Both subs and port firing forward. It's working out great so far.

Yes, any ground will work, I usually just connect it to the ground of the radio harness.

Simply just connect the parking brake wire, (light green) to ground. Thats all.
