Lol, which it was that exciting. You should get an XS Power battery charger. Your alt isn't going to charge up depleted batteries.It would suck to ruin a great alt and batteries.I know I know but my batteries aren't dead or anything. I shoulda picked up the new charger during the group buy but didn't have money really. I'll be getting the hf1215 soon though. My batts rest at 12.8 though but I'll get the charger for me and my teammates to use.Tinman I had a chipped exhaust valve that caused all types of problems for me. Get a leakdown test done. Oh really? How much is a leak test gonna cost? Nope not at all. Hopefully some of my trusted mechanics can tell me what the deal is though. Yeah man, i will next time but i don't know what they could've done really. Lol wish i was that experienced... Oh and here is the update, oh wait there is none! I had to go to work and i had my dad try and update me with news. But news did not come. We will be calling tomorrow. So gay...

How long have you driven with the new alt? Try letting the car idle for 10 minutes, see if the computer corrects it. At least 2 days. I did exactly that and nothing was correct. Was exactly the same as when it did it the first time. Sounds like you should at least do a tune up on it, things like plugs/wires. What do you mean a tune up? On the engine? what do you think that would cost me to get that? A burnt exhaust valve? I am not sure where that is located, but i can tell you i had my exhuast pipe and muffler custom installed 2.25 inches all the way from the motor. Not sure if that matters at all. Update... Today i guess the mechanic took it around to see if he could bog my engine down like i had explained to him how it did. He left it in his shop for 30-40 before someone needed to get an oil change. They pulled my car out and did the oil change for whoever. Another mechanic went to get my car and noticed smoke coming out of the trunk. Now mind you, this is where my extra battery is, fuses, and most importantly my amp is. My BRAND NEW AQX3500.1D amp is. Waiting to hear back from him. I am on my way to work and my dad will be updating me while i am there. I will update this when i get home. FML.

Alright, so i have some news... I installed the alternator, was a bit troublesome like the first time to get it in but i did eventually get it in. Before turning on my car i had my dad check over it to make sure i installed it right and had a certified auto mechanic check it. Was in perfectly. Strangely enough, whenever i start my Honda accord everything is fine and turns on great. If i turn on my A/C my car takes a heavier load which as always the RPM's of my motor go down and my car has to work harder. At this point my car shakes TREMENDOUSLY and the first time i thought my car was about to stall out, my car is an automatic. This also happens when i stop at red lights, slow down near a dead stop somewhere, even when i put my car in park after driving it. Even with the A/C off. I don't know if it's the alternator but all i know is that this problem started happening after i put in my alternator. My car is currently being inspected for anything that could be wrong with the car other then the alternator, but i figure i should post this up for everyone

Sorry, i posted it before i had to leave for work. It looks interesting. You can see the casting is actually thicker and now instead of one hole for the mounting, you have three. I will post up pictures tomorrow

I like it a lot actually. Way better then the kenwood and it beats hard. I am actually scared that i am going to bust my woofers so i keep it on a low gain setting lol. One of two though, so once i get those SSA prototypes, game over lol! Haha i know right!? I am upgrading to 2-4 3100's XS batteries

Hey Kyle, Stan, Rob. I have talked to Kyle about 4 weeks ago, emailed him 3 weeks ago, and left another voicemail with him today, left Stan a voicemail about a week ago and talked to Rob on the phone about a week ago. I have still yet to get anything figured out or my daily driver running. I haven't heard back from Kyle or stan in over 4 weeks and I was told my Rob that the situation would be taken care of by this week but i am still here waiting. Get back to me ASAP.

I honestly don't know who that is. But i have been talking to different people about bottoming out subwoofers. With the fact that if you are running high power it would probably be better to build a "smaller" box. Not too small mind you but obviously not bigger. Thank you for telling me it was a joke though. There are many scenarios that will cause a driver to bottom out. An example is an improper enclosure (too big) with too much power being applied to the driver. Okay, that's what i thought. But in this case don't you think that you would be pushing high power to the Zcons?

Now, I don't stalk Steve's videos but i was just looking at one of his videos that he posted up and he explains how his "Clipping Tool" works just like a oscope. I was wondering what you guys thought about this? Personally, i think it's a really cool tool and a great idea. But at the same time i feel like it's Steve Meade just trying to get his name out again and to make more money. Just another ploy really, but it is a valuable tool it seems like. Sorry Steve. I am not trying to be rude but i know your busy so how am I going to be able to get a hold of you? I know you get spammed with a lot of emails or anything on SMD or youtube. Most of them some kid with 2 12's in his car asking what a DB is. So i don't know how i would even attempt to get into contact with you. I know that it sounded like i was bashing, and assuming which again, i apologize for. But, i was more asking what people thought about it and if it actually would be a working tool. Yeah i know. I just felt bad for the OP and i have been going through a similar situation.

Hopefully, i will make some calls today after school and see if i can't get something... I don't have any money to buy another alt. I honestly barely can pay my bills.Then sell your system or something else. Do what you have to. I bet you have a cell phone. . . Get rid of it, buy an alt a drive to work. I have been selling stuff. Almost everything. Been selling my system, i needed to keep my cell phone for work so my parents picked up that bill. I just wish DC power would help me because in all honesty, it's not my fault the alternator broke. If it was i would understand but it was a manufacturing flaw. The only reason i didn't get my alternator fixed 3 months ago because i was promised the first month the casting would come in, then told they were coming in after that month and to wait just a bit longer, then after a month of that tried to get a hold of people for some what of a month and here we are, me almost broke selling everything i have just to work.

I don't have any money to buy another alt. I honestly barely can pay my bills.
