"that might be a good idea!!!"
How reassuring! haha
I would like it to be compact enough to fit up your dash or a-pillar like some people do, but mounting it on or off axis won't be a huge problem. If there were more options available for 2" baskets the stroke could be improved, and it could possibly have even more extended frequency.. But I think the current target I have set will deliever with ease!

Buy 3 XXX's and 2 RL-S's
whichever you dislike give to me.

People make mistakes though. It was one guy on the other end of the phone. Maybe instead of blowing up you could have waited a while and called back, and spoke to someone else?
A rapist is despicable, a guy who doesn't honor your warranty because he doesn't know any better is misinformed.

The plan was a 2" driver, possibly with a neo magnet, won't know until if/when it gets into further development.
I am hoping people will be able to mate it with a 6.5" or 8" with no problems. I don't want there to be any sacrifice either. That is my goal.
I have also thought doing a 5.25" XBL^2 driver, because there is currently none on the market, and I know some people have space limitation (M5 if your stereo is like my 530i, stock spot is 5.25).

Not knowing much about the XXX hurts your judgement lol
the XXX can do 4.5"
I am not saying it is better, but I would not be handing out a title for low distortion to any sub.
16 CuFt sounds like enough for a pair of RL-S's though, I bet they would be low end monsters in the right install.

I replaced the window motors in my Camaro for like $120 for the pair with liftime warranty... fast job though, drill out rivets install new one and you're golden.
then I sold the car... lol

About a small XBL^2 Full Range driver, capable of replacing a tweeter, and playing down to about 300Hz?
Sound like something you fella's would be interested in?
I know this has been long anticipated for some, including myself... I was thinking one day... Why wait?
I have been contemplating having something like I described built.. And starting a little business of my own. It would be small scale, but if I could garner some success from it who knows. Their might not even be room for someone else out there! But I would like to know the interest level before I start throwing all my money into it.
So let me hear it!
Yes! No! You are an idiot! Tell me your thoughts

I bought a hat from Lids Create Your Own.. But I am sure it is not cheaper. You have to buy like over 30 for it to be cheaper.

it better be a flex fit and it better be a large xl or I will uppercut some jaws
p.s. will you get mad at me for having a hat with a SS logo if I don't have any of their products? maybe if mike didn't charge so much

Don't be afraid to port.. I thought the same way you did, ported, and if space permits I will always return to the dark side.

So my brother and I are going to buy a car together...
Saturn Sky Redline.. going to get some options, think it will end up costing about $30k... They aren't available until Fall sadly, but I have to go to the dealer this Saturday to put a Grand down for a deposit... He said I am #1 on the Redline list..
The actual production Redline will be unveiled next week at the New York Auto show... sucker has 260hp and 260ftlbs at the crank... not bad...couple years down the road we will probably be dropping an LS1 or LS2 in there

I know... I have a pair of CSS WR125's....
But I can't throw those in my dash, and where tweeters would normally be.
The idea is you have a nice 6.5 or 8" midbass and a smaller 2" tweeter/midrange... Saves alot of space.
