It would help most if post what size frame your blown HDC3's have as well as which version of frame they have. If your not sure on which version a picture would help a ton.

i've seen rapid in and out protection caused from internal fault at rca inputs.
Thing to try to rule that possibility out quick-
Unplug all rcas and see what happens
If it stays on, start by plugging one in at a time until you find culprit.
At that time, take that rca cable and plug it into another input channel on amp to rule out
cable and preout channel from HU.
Also.. when i have seen this happen
person.. the amp caught on fire about 10sec later... So hopefully it hasn't on you...
sorry I fd that Last Reply up..I unplugged the RCAs and it continues to do it

Check the voltage when the amp cuts out on the song and rule out voltage drop!
Quick Question Kind of newbish but where exactly do you clamp the DMM at....Battery????

could be a loose wire, maybe low voltage
I Hope Not and I just checked all connections their all good

I was just listening to my pair and I would recommend you get a good solid braced box(if you decide to go with these) And Yeah they could do better on low notes....But from my experience they play Good Lows on certain songs...They killed The box I Have now its Flexxing like a mofo Im switching it out Sunday though..Thought this would be a little helpful
