I like huge cars also. And thanks.. I needed a reference like you to turn to. And yeah, that would be awesome. I'm just looking for a used nightshade 18v.2. And I laughed my ass off at the cool story bro thing... rofl

does anyone have experience with the e8's

No clue, no one has them to play around with... should be a little shallower for smaller trunks though, and like any sundown sub, it is probably at home ported or sealed

I wont have to? That's my biggest fear, is that I will lose sound because there is no like port or anything into the cabin of the car

And I don't wanna tear up my rear deck, but if I have to I'll make a window between my rear speakers.

I have a 1991 Chevy Caprice Classic... I'll get dimensions later tonight, I'm at work. I know I could make it work. My trunk is like a third of my car... lol

    Sundown Audio vs Hifonics

Yeah I believe that Sundown is in another league than Hifonics. But on the other hand, I haven't heard anything terrible about Audiopipe. Pretty good bang for the buck, I'd say.

    Need help choosing a subwoofer

I've never heard a bad thing about either of the SSA's, but a 15'' BTL would do work.

    Daily Nightshade 18''

Thanks guys, I'll try to make that fit in my trunk... one last question... which way should the sub/port be placed for the most amount of sound? I don't think I want the sub facing up, because I don't wanna lose all that air out of the trunk lid... I may be wrong. Thanks

I have plenty of room, and my back seat wont be coming down... how many cubes are you talking?
  18. Okay, so I was wondering if anyone had any input on this amplifier. I am basically asking if it was worth what I gave for it. I gave a good friend of mine $200 and a SAX-1200 for this amp. It slammed his Z18, and it looks like it's solid. Anyone had any problems or anything with this amp? Thanks
  19. Okay, so I have a quick question. I am planning on getting 2 Sundown SA-15's. I already have an enclosure built by the local shop, but I believe it's for an SUV. It fits in my trunk, so I was considering just rollin' with it. Only problem is, it's subs up, port back. It's 3.1ft^3 per sub, which seems fine.. but I could also have someone build me a custom enclosure that would be more of a traditional trunk style enclosure. I'm trying to save as much money as possible. What should I do? What would sound better? Thanks.

I just spent an hour reading this entire thread in Saturday school, and it was worth every second. Sweet car man, wagon FTW! Love the black grill accent with the powder coated rims! Looks sick! Nice bikes BTW.. Two stroke all the way! Hope you get your alt case soon enough Enclosure is amazing with the Xcons and the aeros and... I'm jealous! Good luck man!

    Decisions, decisions...

So, I've finally gotten an idea of what I want. I'm really looking into the Fi BL 15'' subwoofer. I'm going to be pushing it with a Sundown SAX-1200. But, I've heard that the Q is almost a better alternative. Could someone please help me on which one to decide? And where could I get an enclosure that would really make the sub loud? Thanks! -Austin

    Unsure...

Okay guys, here are my trunk dimensions- 44'' wide, 20'' tall, 20'' deep. Give or take an inch or so on the height and depth. Would an efficient enclosure fit in there?

    Unsure...

Hello, I am in a serious situation here. So, my buddy and I are into this car audio thing. (You'd have to be from Iowa to understand that its looked down upon.) So, he has his two SA-12's on a SAX-1200. And they hit. So, the main thing I was wondering, was what would basically give him a run for his money? I have considered 2 Fi SSD 15's, 2 SA-15's(out of the question, I don't wanna be the homo who copies him), and the main choice I'm complimenting at the moment is a single 15" on a SAX-1200. Possibly an Icon 15"? Any input is abliged. Thanks! -Austin

Would my 1200 be efficient on the BL?

    Unsure...

Well, I need an enclosure, a driver, wiring, and most likely a second battery. So I'll say $700 is the max for me.
