i have been out of car audio for a few years and im about to get back into it, i was looking at the DP 21 (i like one sub setups) what do you guys think the best amp for it would be? its going to be used for a few shows in Maryland and everyday use.

i was looking at the audioque 2200's and they seem to good to be true haha i was thinking about 2500-3000 watt's (for showa) and wire it to a higher ohm load for everyday use. so far its audioque 2200 40.1 (if i can find one at a good price) sundown 3000

Yes Scott the owner. Last year when i sent him my sub's to do the upgrade he said the se/xxx are the grandfather of the ssd and have just about the same spec. i read someplace about the ssf on the bash amp that's why i looked into the oaudio. I'm about to go get fitted for my hook now, j/k i have to go to another doctors appointment

right now the amp is going to be a bash 500 or oaudio 500. in my first post i said it's going to be used for 95% movies. im going to get ahold of scoot from fi but i think the spec's are the same as the fi audio ssd. just to let you know right now i only have one arm thanks to a honda 400 dirt bike

i can get 5.5-6 cubes will that work? im going to use 2 layers of mdf and all theed to brace it so i down fire and port the frount? if so should i go with a a single 6" or 2 4" ports and what should i tune it to?

i have the the monitor 50's cs1 and 2 sets of 30's for the back and they sound great to me, i used to have an onkyo HTIB and it sucked. the monitors are not a htib just polks 2ed to lowest speckers.

im about to do something like this in a s-10 for 2 L7 15's subs on bottom port up top, i know you said it sounds better but how is the spl vs them in the back seat? any info you can give me will help alot, oh and if both subs are on the same side but one behind the first kinda like an 8 do you think one will cancel the other out?

i have made many sub box';s just non have been for home use, like i said above the sub is a re sx/xxx i got back from scoot at fi about a year ago. im going to look at how much rm i can give up and ill post tonight

im looking for a ported box for the trunk of a 95 caddy, 14"H 14"D 38"W is the max for the box. it's for a 12" ssd how long/big should i make the port to tune it around 33Hz's it also going to be powered by an alpine 650 watt amp.

i jsut got my amps they are 2 dei D2400's so i have around 1000 to each, i can also go up to around 12^3 after wood displacment. what size box/ port should i go with?

i have 2 15"se/xxx's i wanted to know how much power should i throw at them also what do you guys think for a box. im looking for a loud DD. do you think of 9 cubes before sub and port displacment and 135" of port tuned to 35hz's

im talking about the old crx style subs up port back, from the looks of it i can get 5.5^3 before port displacment and 6" from the rear door. right now he's going to use some audiobahns 1208s till he gets the cash for the ssd's (he's 15)

im doing an instll in a 88 s-10 blazer for 2 12" ssd's for everyday use tuned around 33 what type of box do you guys think will be best? i was thinking about a crx type box but what size box/port should i go with?

im doing an install in a 2000 expedition im going to use a MM1400D and a MM100.4, the budget is kinda tight since he wants to spend $1000 for everything. it's going to be for everyday use only and never see a mic. should i run 4 kicker cvr 10's or one 12" Q ported? and why?

thanks for your help, i think i might jsut go with the mm100 since i can get it for about the same price as the 50.4, if its to loud ill turn it down. now i jsut have to let him know its going to be a little more then he wanted to spend :-D but i can just get the ss75.4 for the mids and maybe the 1500.1 on the sub (if he wants it a little cheeper). i saw a test in a mag with the ss500.1 and 1000.1 they did there rated power but at 13.8 or 14 volts

to power a 15" or 18" Q should i usa a autotek mm 1400.1 or ss 1500.1? the reason i ask is becasue i have seen a few test done where the ss500 and i think the 1000 did there rated power around 13.8-14 volts. or should i go with the mm1400 and i am getting a good deal on the amps so they are the only 2 i can pick from.

this is the first suv im going this type of install in so im sorry for all the ?'s that's all you have on the mids? do you think i can use the 1400 at 1 ohm on the sub and the mm50x4 on the mids? or should i put more power to the mids? (mm75.4 or 100.4)

i found the vids, what did you like better the Q or the perficts? what type of mids do you have and what amp?

to me better then stock would be 2 btl's with 4k rms and he wants me to use my best judgement im going to take a look at the back tomorrow and see how much room i can get away with, out of 85+ people at work i know he will be the loudest and sound the best, right now im the loudest with 2 se/xxx 15's and a little azz 600 watt amp. its going to be ported tuned in the low 30's, whats the video under? im going to show him tomorrow

yea i might just do a single Q 15 or 18 im not sure how much room ill have behind the 3ed seat but i should be able to ge atleast a 15 in there.

im not talking about louder i know the kickers have alot more cone area then a single 12. the guy just wants something that "sound's better then stock" how much more s/q would a 12"q have?

im really thinking about running some dc sounds gear 6 12's or 4 15's in a wall. what do you guys think of box/port sizes for a bass race set up? also does anyone have any spl numbers with there subs?

do you guys have a rec. box for the drivers? where are you guys located?
