  1. SS price might be better (haven't checked), but Don's "price" also comes with an extremely methodical system for achieving your goals with the least but most effective amount of material and an extremely detailed and comprehensive plan for deadening the vehicle, applying the product, etc.

So while unit to unit the price might be cheaper, following Don's comprehensive plan might allow you to use less material than if you were to "plan" it out on your own which would be cheaper in the long run, plus you have one of the most knowledgeable guys in the industry detailing a plan specifically for you, your goals and your budget.

Don doesn't have a cart checkout system on his site for a reason. He wants to have that conversation with the customer, to help them establish goals and a plan for achieving those goals.

All in all I would say Don has the best bang for the buck, all things considered.

alright maybe ill check into dons more then i know i had emailed him and he responded so.

  2. with the power you have i would go with the Zcon.
just wondering why you say that? they are both right around that wattage (2250 vs 2500). And we all know they can handle more than that if need be.
i wish i could honestly see one of these beasts in real life hopefully i can get someone to come to my senior project competition. id like justin and his blazer to come.

  3. Hey everyone i am setting everything up for a competition in central pa. All proceeds will be going to make a wish foundation. there will be food and drinks for sale. Not looking at making it a huge competition unless i get a lot of feedback and a lot of people to come. i may need another meter aswell. not sure yet. there will be a set date after today. gotta talk with my mentor and local shop.

  4. So i was curious on some of the responses of the murder mat. The MDK and the BL series. I am really gonna need deadener after i get my seccond gcon in my van coz it already rattles enough hahahaha.

  5. Not really. If they were going to be from behind then you might as well just have the sub(s) play into the midbass region anyways. Go ahead and bridge the 4chn to the comps smile.png

wouldnt really be way behind me theyd be right behind the seats ill draw up a layout and show you what i want for positioning of everything.

  6. hey fellas got a question for ya. If i get the IA mids and highs and run them off my 4 channel. The comp set. would it be possible to run some 8 in mid bass from behind or on the insides of my seats for more mid bass. without having to buy a processor?

  7. just double checked my box specs.

    4.05 cubes

    tuned to 33.5 hz

any by "feel" i guess i mean i want it to shake my seat mostly. right now it shakes my eyes, or glass idk, so i cant see straight. all i know is that everything outside of my car looks somewhat blurry, and i absolutly love that.

idk, tomorrow i can get a better feel for it, im just curious as to why im not louder. more subs + more power. after checking my box, built to specs so im not sure whats to blame.

sometimes being louder can only be noticed by looking at numbers or vice versa. if you customize a box maybe you could get what your looking for.
