    Welcome to the IHoP

wouldn't want to hurt anyones feelings
  2. Simple enough neh? "sure if you know what it means" I am not saying that you messed up. I am however saying I think you need to understand the basics. ohms of a speaker and it's relationship to the amp you want to run. sealed vs ported and what maybe right for your desired install how many amp channels needed to run your speakers blending a sub to your front stage these are some of the things that I have had a hard time understanding what you know. like I said maybe it is me not completely understanding what you are trying to convey. try to stick to one subject. make a decision then move on to the next just my .02 cents
  3. honestly there are so many inconsistencies in your posts. in my opinion you need to know the basics of car audio, before going any further. If you don't know the basics or at least understand them. no matter what equipment (be it the best money can buy) you will still be disappointed in the end results. just my opinion I may be just not reading thing correctly. Just trying to help you

  5. The big 3 will help, but might not solve the problem. what does your alt put out? you may need to add another battery.
  6. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=22809 maybe a option?
  7. Just to make your it more difficult to choose. Mach 5 IXL 10, SSA Icon 10 I think these would fit your build as well. just food for thought

I have to say that is nice. I am not a ford fan but it looks pretty tough. I am waiting to see the new 2010 dodge power wagen. would be even better if it came with the cummin's.

    Front stage help

Hi chad I'm chad(haha) I have a 2007 dodge 2500 quadcab. I have been thinking of upgrading my current set up as well, as soon as money allows. From the reaserch I have done I know with minimal trimming and a .75" baffle you can fit 8" midbass in the doors with up to 4.25" mounting depth. These trucks also have quite a bit of room in the dash. The kick panels are quite large as well. there is even room under the dash to fit horns. I am not sure what direction I want to go with as of yet but I am open to ideas as well and look forward to your build.
  18. Very nice, is the enclosure going behind the batteries? or are you making a a frame and mounting it over top? I am not a ford fan but thats a nice looking truck.

    SAZ-3000D with FI Q15 w/BP Power Option

I've been looking at these: Hybrid Legatia L841-3 Pro Component Set If I have that up front, do you think that will stand up to the 2 Q15's and a 3000D? I doubt it but it would be a very solid front stage. 3000 watts of sub-stage is allot for anything to try to compete with.

    wiring ohms

Ok so you have a RF 3000 amp and a BTL. yet you need to ask this question. before you hook up that expensive equipment I would highly recomend you research basic car audio 101. I am not trying to be mean but you have high power, high dollar stuff that if done wrong could be very bad for you and your equipment. just my opinion

    wiring ohms

wire both positives to the positive on the amp, then both negitives to the negitive on your amp. dual 2 ohm wired like this gives you 1 ohm load to your amp.
  24. I'm sure you'll figure it out sooner or later. (laughs)

space you have? just my opinion maybe 2 Rli 10"s in a 1.5ft^3 I think that would do very well for your power and budget
