I was just wondering if anyone has installed a RL-p 15 in a dodge quad cab? if not what others have worked for you? I am thinking of installing a Dvc 2 RL-p 15 under the back seat in a 2.2ft^3 sealed enclosure running off a Phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1 I have also tossed around the idea of installing a Dvc 4 Ri8 in a custom made .65ft^3 ported center seat console running of a phoenix gold tantrum 400.4. The 8 would be for everyday and the 15 would be for shows I would app. any input you may have. Thanks Chad

I have a 07 quad that I took the center seat out and put in a 15 TC 3k. I love lows I think you would be very happy with the 2 RLi8s sealed down firing, 600w would be ok. feed them 1000w and sit back and grin!! I would love to see pics when your done. you will have to brace that enclosure very well. Chad

I would love to do a 3 way active system. but it may be out of my know how and price range. I should have planned better.....lol. I do have to say joining this site is kicking my a** lol I love it but it just keeps me wanting more. I am now an addict. so with that being said what are your guys opinions. Thanks Chad

Well here is what I have installed in my 07 ram quad cab. 1. panasonic 8805 HU 2. phoenix gold tantrum 400.4 (door speakers) 3. blaupunkt 6.5" components (front doors) 4. blaupunkt 6.5" coax (rear doors) 5. phoenix glod tantrum 1200.1 (sub) 6. TC 3000 15" dvc-2 What do you think?

When you buy a new car and your kids cry cause theres no boom. when your 8 yo asks if he can have your old amp. both have happened to me.

I have a 15" DVC 2 TC Sounds 3000 and it is amazing sealed. I have it in a 3.25 ft^3 gross box feeding it 1400 watts. it is tight and low but gets loud as well. I thought about upgrading my amp to a SAZ-1500d in the near future. as well as playing with a vented box for even more output. what I can tell you is I had 2-kicker 10L7's and this 1 15 sounds better, hits lower and imho is louder. with the space you have you could try it sealed 4ft^3 should give you real nice low extension. or go vented for more output. I can't say it will out perform 4 10's but the sq is great.

Well just a update I changed my HU to a alpine 9885. full I-pod control sirius sat. and sounds much better. I am currently looking for some 8" midbass for my doors. Changing out my components and moving them to the kicks Also what processor/crossover Any suggestions? Thanks Chad

Thanks for the comment-- I know that the blaupunkts aren't great but they are way better than stock and all I can afford at this point I was very suprized at how good they sound on the amp

Thanks for your help. I really want the 18! I can fit a little more than 4ft^3 sealed My amp (1200.1 tantrum) birth sheet was 1500 I think this should make for a strong combo. The kicker L7's were in a sealed box (139 db) at a local show in my 04 ram quad I'm looking to to update for the 07 I will make my decision this weekend and place my order on monday. I want a LOW end monster but still would like a little more than what I have. Does anyone have any numbers on a single 15 or 18? Thanks again Chad

Ok I'm ready to buy and have a few questions. I want either the RL-p 18 or the Rl-p 15 either one will be going in a sealed enclosure 4ft^3 for 18 or 2.5 for the 15. It's going in a 07 dodge ram quad cab. powered off a phoenix gold tantrum 1200.1 So now for my questions. I have 2 10"kicker L7s in a 2.2 ft^3 box (loudest in my area) will either RL-p kill this set up? What is the shipping cost for each? Very nice job! The box looks great! I have a couple of questions because I am thinking of a similar box for my truck. What is the out side dimensions of the box? how long are the ports? how do you like the ported compared to the sealed? ups/downs? Thanks Chad

that console is sweet! how does it sound? do you have install pics? I was trying to retain all my seating .... but now I am thinking of going with a full console from the cup holder to the back seat pos. up on the seat center? So that leads me to another question. Should I go with a vented RL-p 15 or a sealed RL-p 18? I have a 07 dodge quad cab and I really am going for the shock and aww in it. The dimensions I have to work with are. between front seats 16"wide from cup holder/4x lever to the back seat 34" I would prefer if the front was no higher than 20" angled down some for a arm rest what do you think? are these possible or am I just dreaming? any help would be greatly app.
