    Elizabethtown, KY Best Buy MECA Results 07-20-2008

    I had a 130, but my fuses blew with 3 seconds still on the clock. I will have my 130+ sticker in drive-by sometime this year.

    TEAM SUNDOWN @ MECA JUNE JAMS E TOWN

    I have some pictures posted up on our website. http://www.carlisleacoustics.com/albums/th...ls.php?album=36 As you can see, the day started out with a blowout on the wagon. That was scary as hell in that big ass boat of a car. I also wanted to point out that Derek's S2 score was done out of the trunk of a Volvo @ 34Hz. It is very impressive to see. Lots of flex.

    ~~~Fi BL vs. AQ HDC3~~~
    If you want something that doesn't sound like crap, get the BL. Both subs are loud, but the BL will sound better and hold up better daily. This has been my personal experience with both subs.
    Vote for SAZ-1000D!
    Sweet!!!
    Vote for SAZ-1000D!
    Will the 1000D get the SAZ heatsink? It would be great if it would match the SAX amps. I know a few people that went on and purchased the 1500 just so it would match their 100.4.
    E8 took a bad fall when shipped
    UPS has been sucking some hardcore ass lately.
    I got my second 3000D!!!!
    I just wanted to post up some pics of my second 3000D. The new heat-sink feels a heck of a lot heavier then the old one. I'm going to try to get some numbers tonight. And a pic of what they are powering
  13. thefordmccord
    I got my second 3000D!!!!
    I am running 16 5 amp fuses for a total of 80 amps. They will hold up for 2-3 minutes with both 3000Ds running full tilt. As you can see, I have a 200 amp ANL stuck in along with the AGU fuses for daily. Here is a closer pic of the block.
    It is in my sig: 1991 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser Wagon I used my 07 scion TC for SPL last year and at the Carl Casper show, but I was shaking the poor car apart. I bought the wagon for SPL comps and I plan to start a SQ system in the Scion.
    Those of you running the 1500d at .5 ohm, Help.
    your electrical sounds as good as teh one i had in my blazer that ran a 1500D daily at .5ohm very well. ... and i never said that....
    poppin 250 amps on saz 3000d
    I'm running 3000D daily on 80 amps worth of fusing... 16 five amp fuses FTW!! BTW, I do this so that I can be in MECA Mod 2 and it happens that I can run it daily that way. If I were you, I would ditch the breakers and go with some ANL fuses. I used to run breakers forever ago and as soon as they get a little warm, they trip real easy. Once they trip several times, they get weak and you can trip them with half of their rated current. At least that has been my experience with them.
    The crazy thing is that the box was screwed down with L brackets. It ripped them right out!
    8 inch woofer?
    I'm wanting 4 of these to put in my Scion. Are they going to be single 4 ohm coils? I looked though the thread and didn't see it listed.
    Our results from E-Town MECA Event
    I didn't really get any pics cause it was cold. I snapped a few, but most of them are blurry. Maybe it was because I was shivering!! We were suposed to have sunny and 65, but we ended up with cloudy, windy and 40...
