Wow!! That's gonna be RAW! I can't wait to see it in person!

I really want some 18s!!!
-
You will need to install a fuse holder within 18" of your amp. With two 12s, you have 226" of surface area. Here is the fusing that you can run in the AS classes with two 12s: AS1 = 50 amps AS2 = 90 amps AS3 - 175 amps

We use a stand that holds the mic. Here are the specs for the stand: http://www.mecacaraudio.com/2008Rulebook/2...20page%2043.pdf -

I don't really know the exact tuning. We just tweak them till they peak where we want them. These are legal MECA scores at the headrest with the termlab meter. Since we were indoors, we had to have our engines off. That hurt some of the street and mod scores. Amateur Street always meter with the engine off and only one battery in the stock location. Oh, and we have to run fusing. My score was done through a single 80 amp ANL fuse. You are always throwing up some good numbers. What is your meter placement? -
That box will be way above the rear seat line. That will be OK, but if you ever decide to go to a comp, you will get stuck in a mod class. Also, I had my best results (at the driver side headrest) with subs up and ports to the right. My TC likes any note from 48 to 52.

Yeah, My car is a two seater right now. It will take me about an hour to have my daily setup put back in. I run one Audioque HDC3 10 with one 1500 daily. It does over a 141 on music which is plenty loud for daily. I'm sure I will have some other build by the time the next comp comes around. I really want two 15" nightshades and another 3000D, but I need to find some of that money stuff. -

I forgot to mention that we were not aloud to run our engines inside the building during the comp, so everyone's scores were a little low. We had trouble with Corey's car holding a fuse with the engine off, so his score was a lot lower than it should be. I think that once he adds a few batteries in the back, it will fix that problem. -

HAHA, yeah, those group 31 batts look huge in the back of the scion. My scion was peaking at 49 Brents truck was at 30hz!!! Seth's car was at 47 Corey's car was at 42 -
Have you tried disconnecting the amp from power for a few minutes?
-
A pair of Sundown 1500d amps strapped at 2 ohms should do the trick.
-
I got some pics of it today. I plan to build a box to test with this weekend. The other sub in the pics is a 15" FI Q

I know that B-Quiet Extreme is asphalt based, but I have never had it come off. I never clean the surface, never use a heat gun and it has never come off. I installed up to 3 layers in parts of my civic and it has never came loose in almost 3 years time. Most of it was installed when it was 20 degrees outside. I now have two layers of it in my TC and it has never came loose. I have also installed it in three of my team-mate's cars with no problems. I have tried to pull it off in a few spots and it is pretty much impossible. Just wanted to say that there are still some good asphalt based deadener out there that can be had for cheap..

I used to have one about 10 years ago. It was one of those things that was fun to play with but got old real fast. About the only thing it was cool on was classic rock and stuff like that. It pretty much sucked for any song that already had a lot of bass in it.

About to head out to MECA world finals!!
thefordmccord replied to Rickyharrisjr's topic in Sundown Audio
Congrats Ricky!! I have never seen anyone work so hard on their system in my life. Most of our team runs Sundown as well. Corey Mitchell got first place in Amateur Street 1 with a 143.1 ( did a 143.9 on Saturday). I got second in Amateur Street 2 with a 145.6 ( did a 146.1 on Saturday) and Wes Burke got 5th in Amateur Street 1 (I can't remember his score. It was a 141 something). Thanks Jacob for making such a killer product. -
I have sent a few e-mails over the last few weeks to a few different e-mail addresses but have yet to receive a response from anyone. Anyway, I am needing a recone for my spare Q before MECA world finals and I need to get it in sometime between now and November 17th-18th. Someone please let me know the cost and who I need to send money to to get this recone. This is for a FI 15" Q D2 with the BP Power option. Thanks!!! Jeremy McCord Carlisle Acoustics
