this was a proud moment.  To some it may not be impressive and to others it may.  But it felt good and is just a starting point.

luckily I didnt blow my subs before this.  I went a little two crazy giving demos and slinkied one and blew a hole in a coil of another.   Now I should say that I am running these 7k's at .5 per sub.  Thats a crazy amount of power for any sub.

since it was a 2 day show the next day i burped on just 2 subs and got this.

This was fun to carry.  Then I realized to install it correctly i was going to have to pull them back off.  Looking at installing these in a different way to improve looks.

to help airflow i cut out the wheel wells to help air flow as the step there actually ended up being closer to the motor than i wanted.  was a bitch to cut out.

Let me start off with this.  My boss at work.  I work at a lumber mill.  The supervisor at our sawmill heard my stereo and though they had lost a bearing on one of the major machine centers.  I have no idea how he heard my stereo since the office is in the middle of the sawmill but I thought it was funny.

Got a hell of a deal (1900 shipped) for 2 used m1s so that puts me up to 4 total now.

Picked up some new vinyl for the inside.

  5.

    Nice whip!!

I am a VW fan myself.(particularly TDI cars)  I bought a 06 Jetta new, and then an 05 Passat used.  Really liked them both.  Nice Start!

    Nice Ride

    Sweet car and nice start!

    Thanks, Guys! Appreciate VW love!

I love me some VWs, hoping my next car will be one. What are the audio plans?

I've got some done, I'll post some updates tonight. I'm looking for feedback on what to do next smile.png

Nice clean looking car man, I like the aladdin knife in that one picture.

That was the sharpest thing close to me at the time haha thank you!

Nice, do you have anything planned for subs?

Sure do! I'll post updates tonight.

does this mean you'll actually show up to shows?

I was at the one in Centralia on sunday, where were YOU!?

    work

  6. The door panels I had made,  They ended up being a huge fail as the metal b2 signs I made wouldnt stick to the plexi no matter what tricks and glues I tried to use.  Also a miscalculation on my part made the flannel part stick out to much on the bottom, catching the doors.   Needless to say I had to jigsaw the crap out of them to get them to work which really sucks because I liked them so much.

And I ended up plasti dipping the toaster

And thats about where I'm at atm.  Will be pulling the front baffles off again and cutting out the wheel wells to glass theym so they are flatter and not just giant blocks.  And possibly move the baffle back so I have more leg room.  And theres lots more work left to do.

  7. pretty much all wiring and accesories are sky high (ordered through the SSA Store)

A new volt meter I wanted to try out.  You can customize this in so many ways and have many different inputs and not just volts.

    20140529_212356_zpsx6eki9dx.jpg

Here is how the batts and amps look atm.

    20140516_200836_zpsing126xo.jpg

This will be changed soon as tomorrow 2 more b2 m1s will be showing up.  So I'll have 4 of the b2 m1s and 7 amps total.

Sky high 2/0 with Projectdb reducers and buss bars.

Cutting the boards....my saw hated me.

  8. Well since this hasn't been updated in a while except senchez stealing my pictures so here goes.....

Front stage consisting of 2 b2 hntt tweeters, 4 b2 hn6 pa mids, and 2 b2 es8 subs for midbass.

    CAM00013_zpsftcjnzhk.jpg

Powered by 2 h class b2 quattros (4x150) and a b2 quota (1k) for the midbass which is not pictured.

Some of the wood for the new wall build, the 4th didnt work out as well as I had hoped.  This will make for a much stronger wall.

Shell made out of 3"x12" boards I got from work.

New head unit.  I love this thing.

With a maestro unit I can pull up info from my odb2

    20140605_134902_zpsqlgeokrh.jpg

Also this unit allows mhl and slimport use so i can mirror my android phones.

  9. Yay another toaster.

I currently am running the airlift autopilot v2 full air ride. I really like it. Except i got the back bags maxed out and looking to replace with higher psi bags.

If you arent sagging horribly you can try out helper springs they run about 80 bucks or so and slide into your rear springs. I had some for a while and they helped out.

  10.

Sharp drywall screw on a screw gun that I have to use force to drive, or a flat smooth bolt I can just thread right in by hand . IDK which one I should pick?

T-nuts bother me when they fall off or when the sub cutout isn't much smaller that the mounting hole diameter. If you want to go deeper, how many times is a sub removed/installed? biggrin.png

With all that in mind, I've used T-nuts on the RLi enclosure laugh.png

Drywall screws work great for most install's but heavier subs I prefer a T-nut. It sucks either way if the cutout is to big or screw holes are off center. tongue.png

my subs are 75lb and held up in a wall just fine with spax screws

project today.  Got the nexus 7 ready to install

    woot.gif

In my stupidity I went to the friend with the CNC, we figured out the radius of the nexus, the angle and we cut based on the internet dimensions. 5mm off in the length. Sat till 1:30 AM to finish it, I was fucked the next day at work.

Looks good, personally I would sand down the edges to give it a smooth transition to the screen. I like where you have the bass knobs too.

Yeah its not finishes. noticed the bump on the left side also.
