It took a little bit of bent sheet metal but its in there lol all 7.5 cubes gross. But if you can't get more than 2.5 you're doing something wrong I could slide a 5 cube box in. Also we got 7 net into a Mazda 6.
-
No problem man. And my trunk is gone haha. 6 cubes net at 34hz. I wish I had fold down seats! I just have to turn the box because the port is getting choked like crazy.

It's a little under rated, and its rated at 13.8v. The stock alt should do fine with that amount of power (I run 1900 on stock electrical + big 3 with pretty much the same car) and it will slam if done right. BUT you will have 0 trunk space.

2 sa-15's off of http://www.woofersetc.com/p-6040-zrs-7000d-cadence-2600-watt-1-ch-competition-amplifier.aspx . That leaves you ~500 for box wiring and a battery. Do the big three and get a big battery for under the hood and you'll be set.

Just for subs/amp or front stage and deck too?
-
99.9% sure they do. Maxima.org is an awesome resource, I drive an Infiniti I30 (like Max of same year) and that forum has helped me with a lot.
-
Pretty sure the 03 Max seats fold down right?
-
Yeah port and tune 30-34 with lots of port area. I'm not saying that you'll achieve a hairtrick, but you are pressurizing a smaller area therefore moving more air. Make sure you seal as airtight as you possibly can or it is not worth doing.

With that car you will gain a lot by firing into the cabin and sealing the trunk from the cabin.

Cone area > Power in my opinion. Obviously you need some power though.

Headunit won't power on ?
ricksi30 replied to hatrix's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Nope, didn't even bother since i was just changing the remote wire. Damn I hope you didn't fry it. Even doing something as simple as switching the remote wire you should disconnect the negative from the battery. -

I'm sure it could be a number of things, did you disconnect the battery while messing with it? -
Really like the port

Over time, you just build a tolerance for it. Before the xcons, i had 2 btl's which had more output, but sounded like ass on anything other than rap. My planned front stage should be able to keep up and then some, so no problems there. The 2 i have now are dual 2's..1 more should bring me down to 1 ohm, correct? 1.33 Love that color too.
-
Or this. Haha perfect. Going to need a good electrical for that amp.
-
Is the Bl available in D4?
-
The 15's would have more cone area and power handling. But way too many things are going to come into play to say this will be louder than that. What car? What amp? What does your electrical system consist of? EDIT: Just saw that you said a 3000 watt Rockford. I would go with the eighteens so that you can wire to one ohm and give them 1500 a piece.

Do you think two SA-15's can handle 2500w rms?
ricksi30 replied to Angelboy863's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
No IF you know what you are doing. If not go a different route. First hand experience I have with that sub is having an Sa10 on a 1500rms amp without any problems. -

Yes you can do it, but you need to watch where you set the gain. Having extra power is never bad if you are smart about it.
