  1. Driving along one day and my 12" SSD cuts out. Its in a sealed 1.1 cu ft box. I l=pulled the sub out of the box, and noticed that an internal lead on each of the voice coils has come undone and is frayed.

I called the shop i got it installed at, and they said they don't touch sub repairs. Is this something that can be repaired? Am i Going to have to send it in to Fi to get reconed? Does anyone know a good shop in the SF Bay Area that could fix this?

Also, after a bit more research, it seems this can happen when using an improper sized box. But i was using the Fi recommended 1.1 cu ft for a sealed box. But I do not have the high QTS option which would be more ideal for a sealed box.

Thanks in advance, any input is greatly appreciated.
