i had 3k to em daily. id say anywhere from 3k-4k of power would be cherry.

if you have a midbass you can set your sub even lower if you like because your midbass will kick in. honestly its all preference.
-
usually 60-80hz.
-
if your going for deep, sealed is nice. but not a sealed shallow.
-
if you have to get 6.5 subs, do it as long as its a true sub. sorry for the triple post lol.
-
sell that, get a single SA-8. those guys to build you a custom box .6 - 1 cube under the seat ported at 30-33hz. one of many options you have.
-
wrong already. if your looking for deep bass you wont find it off a shallow. sub. stays away from those all together. the only time it is recommended to use a shallow is when you have to.......... they often have high fs, no excursion and almost always sound like dootz in a spec box.....

1.2 cubes IMO ok thanks, im gonna build 2 boxes. one that is 1.2 cubes and a 2 cube one as well.

the q is not an """"SQL"""" subwoofer, it is a sq subwoofer. it was not at all intended to get loud. to the o.p. get the bl, tune low and build a good box inside fi's recommendations shut up idiot. it aint a true sq sub you dumbass...... when have you ever heard of a true sq woofer with an rms rating of 1000. get real. dont correct me.

the Q has a lower frequency response. the bl is more of a daily spl type sub, the q is more of a daily ""SQL"" type sub.... bl will get louder.... in optimal conditions, the q will have a flatter response and not as peaky, will drop lower and imo be more transient.... as for sloppy bass, throw the Q in a sealed enclosure and your substage will be right behind if not on par with your midstage.

fukken newb get out, dont be fukking pointing fingers at IA because you cannot install.
