They were a good sub for the power. Sounded great IB with around 300w for the pair! I have hit over 135db on music (Not on TL) with a full back seat installed!

Sorry but I think I have the cheapest Fi made.. The 12" X series. They were around $150 a pair. I am actually kinda sad I will be letting them go when I sell my car this week.

ESX and ZED branded Zed amp pic's. Who has some clean ones?

I saw pictures of the line drivers once I regret getting rid of all the Q604s and Q1204s I should have kept one of each.. -

I am partial to the old ESX. I am pretty sure some of my old ones are in collections belonging to some of you guys. Any of you ever buy from me? They would have been shipped from my APO here in Germany (a few years back) I had 2 Q1204, 2 Q604, 1 Q1752, and 1 Q652. I never could get my hands on either of the monoblocks nor one of the line drivers. I do still have a pair of the old HM10 10" subs from that era like new in the box. -
old school son! hehe I used these when I pulled the 4 S8a4's I was running.

I like mine.. Don't know when I will ever use them again but... Mint in box S10c2's That do sound great though.

Very nice gear! On a side note, get the amps mounted with a couple of more screws, it looks like they used 2 per amp.. That is not acceptable for a professional shop.

If I may ask, What part gave out? VC, former, what?

Ok I searched and couldn't find a thread about the 10" SD-1v2's can anyone give me a suggested enclosure size for a single one sealed? I will be running it with my SAE-1000 at 8ohms if I get it.. Thanks!! David

Got the sub today. :bigclap: Seems like a very solid little woofer. What can I expect for power handling in the .75f3^ enclosure? should I polyfill? I have time to get this all worked out as my car will be built next week and it will not arrive till the end of the month. Thanks all once again. David -

Sounds good! My Celica is running MB Quart in the front, Rockford 6.5's in the rear, 2 FI audio X series 12 in IB and a 25 to life Power 1000 powering everything. I love the SQ! The mini will be stock for now except for the SD-1v2 and the SAE-1000. The mini stock boost system has a flat response down to about 60hz so the single 10 should blend well with it. -

Not from Germany but in Germany Aber jetz im Mannheim. Ich arbeite im Wiesbaden. P-Dizzle, Thanks! but will it be ok with 600w Rms? cool, i'm from Gruendstadt if you know that (between k-town and mannheim) now with tye and me that's 3 ppl over here i know using sundown I drive by Gruenstadt almost every Sunday on the way to Kaiserslautern. Sometimes the wife and I go to Globus there because we don't have crap in Mannheim. Yes, I have the SAE 1000 waiting for my MINI to arrive. I have a BL 10 I was going to use but it needs too much airspace for the MINI and my other option is a RE SE 10 but I just found the SD-1 for cheap. What are you running? -

How will these compare to the X series? I am presently running the 2 X series 12's in my Celica IB and Love it but I would be scared to send them more than the 300w I am giving them at the moment. (I have about 900w on tap but refuse to wire them that way)

Single 10 setup, FIQ or SSA Icon
david in germany replied to bigbirney420's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I am debating something similar but with "sealed" looking at about .7f3^ any opinions? 10" SSA, 10" SSD, or 10" Q. I have a Sundown SAE-1000 for power. I only want sub bass as my Cooper has a nice flat sound with stock gear but the roll off is around 45-50 hz http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forum...light=frequency -
Man, I love how you can tuck the carpet on it!

I think what you are asking is what terminals on the amp to use, correct? The positive and negatives on the mono amps are connected together inside the amp so it doesn't matter which ones you use. Just use the ones that are easiest for you.

Thanks! Shoot me a pm with your paypal and it is on it's way! David

Anyone have an extra remote knob laying around that they could spare? I am in the final stages of putting together my system for my Mini and got a great deal on a 100d but it was missing the knob. Any help would be appreciated. David

This is kinda the rough idea I had. I size will be determined by the space behind the seats of the mini. Box will be on one side of th ecar and the exit for the port on the other. (port is red area) Please feel free to tear it up!
