  1. It is not uncommon in the pro audio world to see speakers getting 3-4 times their rated power. This is the same for good car audio equipment and a hair of know how. I know there not actually seeing what the amp is rated at but they are still getting way more than rated and get much more dynamic.

  2. im running one 1500d sundown right now but fixn to order another one.thats why i have the extra batts. and was wondering if i need the isolator.some people say yes and some say no.i dont want to have to spend the money if i really dont need it or if its not gonna help me!!!!thanks and hope to hear back!!!

    i stand by no

Yea, if cranking a big system, especially with the car off, you should be watching the voltage. If you are draining the back batts you are just straining your equipment, why would you want to ever run that low.

  3. Here in Wisconsin my car sits outside in the freezing cold and it is always louder once I get the car/trunk nice and toasty. I think that the lower impedance of the coil is undermined by the cold hard soft parts. I think that, unless you have soft soft parts it would be best to cool only the motor but keep the top assembly, minus the coil, the same temp as your warm cabin. But that is in sub freezing conditions as many people here have proven the opposite to be true in warmer comparisons. If I am talking out of my ass let me know, I'm here to learn.
