  1. Alright. So if I want to be safe, I should cut the larger ring's diameter somewhere between 15.5" and 16".

Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I appreciate it. :)

  2. And yea, the 15" Brahma only displaces 0.18 cubic feet, so I had a feeling that the 0.3 number was a bit off. Strangely enough, however, that number was posted by Nick himself...

    Here's the post (Link)

I think that he'll end up with more than 0.5 cubes after he installs the driver.  Anyone have any estimates, cubic-footage-wise, on that spare tire well?  The Mag15 might displace .3 cubes at the most.

  3. Yep, I want to recess it.

School will begin in a few weeks, and I'd like to have the box built before that time. Since I don't yet have the sub (and won't for some time), I'll have to build the box without being able to use the actual sub in the design process...

  4. And if the web site goes ape-$hit or random emails get sent out (Outlook along with passwords and such were on one of the computers) it isn't me, it's the theives.

Well, we can only hope that the thieves will be foolish enough to actually use your computer, specifically the internet components. If they do send anyone an e-mail, for instance, than the header information in that message can be used to track them.

Though this is certainly a long-shot, I would suggest that you contact all the message boards with which you are registered and ask that they watch for your ID to log in. Most boards will keep a record of IP addresses, since that is the principle upon which they are able to ban users (rather than just banning the user name, which is more easily circumvented).

    This is a second long-shot. I don

  5. Now the graphs are merely to be looked upon as an estimate. Nothing is foolproof; it is a computer program after all. Also, I would like to note that this particular measurement for cabin gain I have added to graphs is fromMY OWN vehicle. Yours will differ from what I have posted.

    True. I understand.

What program are you using? I'd like to be able to run a bunch of these simulations without inconveniencing you.

  6. none of the mags look GREAT sealed...it's just the truth...but you just need to put it in your car...you will be stunned...

In what way would a sealed D2 not sound great? Do you mean just in terms of output, or overall sound quality? Because it was stated earlier in the thread that a sealed 15

  7. What size enclosure(s)?

    ~2.5 cu. ft.

Also, do you have a graph of the 12" D2 ported in a 2.0 cu. ft. enclosure, tuned to 29 Hz, as per the SI webpage? I was thinking about the external port that was mentioned earlier and think that I may have a way to do that. And even if my idea does not work, it would be a nice comparison to have anyway.
