  1. When i get My setup finished up i will post and let everyone know what the two HDC3 15's do in my extended cab f-150. it likes 30 htz so i think that is going to be my sweet spot. im throwing a sundown SAZ 3000d on the two. i hope its going to put up mid to high 140's at the headrest.

  2. i havent heard the soundsplinters but i do know that the fi q's get pretty loud on low amounts of power. i have a friend that put a sundown 3000d in one fi q 15 so i know they will handle quite a bit of power as well. good luck

  3. I just bought 2 HDC3 15 and i putting them in a extended cab ford f-150 on a sundown SAZ-3000d so i will let you know what they do. i know right now with one HDC3 15 on 800 watts its hitting a 144.4 at 30 Htz. so i dont think their to bad at all. im quite impressed.

  4. a 10 inch Fi Q would sound great, paired up with a sundown 1000d. The Fi Q has a rms rating of 1000 watts, witch the Sundown SAZ 1000d puts out 1000 watt at 1 ohm. I know it may be a little expensive but it would sound great. Good Luck

  5. Yeah i dont recomend running any amp at .5 ohm daily for very long. i run my 3000d at .5 ohm for comps. and it doesnt drop the voltage to bad. i have the stock alt right now but i am considering upgrading. for daily use i have two Deka intimidators in the tool box of my truck, and it really helps with the voltage drop and dimming of the lights.

  6. well for that money i dont believe you are going to find any high quality new subs. if you was running one 10 i would suggest a Audio Que HDC3 10. they are very impressive little subs. i have a friend that has a single 10 running on a Sundown saz-1500D and he is doing 141.5's consistantly in a small ported box. the HDC3 10's are 249.00 Each. so good luck.

  7. 2 12s or 1 15 seems to be the right path, but 2 10s dont sound bad either unless it would be a big difference going to 12s.

im thinking about upgrading my mtx 1501d to the sundown saz-3000, but not sure if i have the right electrical system for it. currently, i have a mini battery upfront, an optima yellowtop in the rear, 2 1 farad caps, and will be installing a 180amp iraggi alternator (oem is 90). my eclipse amp for mids and highs is 200watts, but thinking about upgrading to a sundown 100.2 if i decide to upgrade my mids/highs.

Sundown Amps are extremely under rated i have a saz-3000d and at 1/2 ohm it puts out about 4200watts. the 3000d is 1/2 ohm stable i believe as well.
