  1. i will be buying a crossfire vr404 and i was curious how to get the components to the right ohm load to get the power @2ohms. i know i could buy a bigger amp but i am trying to match my vr2000d with vr404. and it has proven near impossible to find any of the other vr amps at an affordable price if at all.

  2. i dont get how you are supposed to be able to use the two ohm option on most four channels amps. mostly the speakers usd for front stage come in 4ohm and they are not dvc so if i run them in parrallel two sets of speakers would be runnin at 1ohm each right? i know there are 2ohm 6.5 speakers out there but its like searchin for a ghost. and i have never seen a dvc 6.5. besides i have enough 6.5's layin around to last for a lifetime. so how do you get the most out of a four channel amp that does say 75x4 @4ohm and 125@2ohm?

  3. my sunroof opens like the first pic, it slides down and under. i appreciate the replies. i might try the foam piece and maybe lots of sound deadener? the whole assembly is gettin ready to be replaced. im thinkin i might be around the same as far as numbers i guess 140's.

  4. i have a mecedes benz 560sec with 2 12' fi ssd's running off of a crossfire vr2000d with the port of the box firing thru the rear deck. i have never had a car with a sunroof and i am about to have this one repaired. the cable to open it came loose. do any of you have sunroofs with serious beats? i am not competing so this question is more of a daily thing. have any of you had to have them permanently sealed because the sound broke them? i was thinking if i just vent the sunroof a little while playing it wouldnt cause damage or also of angling the port more forward instead of upward to minimize the stress on the roof. i am going to have the roof layered with dynamat or somethin like that. i would hate to get my sunroof working for the sound to break it up lol. anybody have thoughts on this? or suggestions? or am i worrying for nothin

probably your download only one of these tracks(the tech track) came from a cd the others are straight from fruity loops.

    us amps400(1997)

rockford fosgate power 300(lost the cover with the fan)

    audiobahn2400hc

    us amps150(1995/96?)

    esx404(got this in germany)

magnat classic 360(also bought in germany)

all of these are still functioning i use em as my spares.

    Those poor abused amplifiers....

No offense but the Orion 2100 HCCA that I posted pics of earlier and 2 of the 225 HCCAs were in a rollover accident that totaled the truck they were in. They're in better shape than those. They're almost perfect actually.

no offense taken(well maybe a little) but yeah i was very hard on my amps over the years constant install uninstall i have had all of these amps in a few different cars sold em bought em back etc. all of these amps have traveled all over the world with me from florida to california, from korea to germany. the us amps had the holes drilled in because at one point i lived in a high theft area and my car was broken into twice and the amps were bolted to the frame with 1/2 chains they tried to get em and couldn't lol. but i have learned to be more careful with my current equipment though so when that stuff comes out for pics i dont get clowned for beating them up.

  8. i like ambient stuff, plus i love bass. techmaster peb is my hero if any of yall can remember that name a lot of my favorite songs by him were really smooth and musical. i try to make my stuff like that (musical that is) here is a couple of tracks i made with fruity loops. i figured i'd share and see what yall think. i don't have a production studio and i am not trying to go into business or anything, just love music, i figured since i saw sombody sharing his hard work maybe i could share mine also. beware i put a lot of low frequency tones in most of my songs!

please dont be too harsh, i worked hard on these, i'm not a computer whiz it took a lot of my time to make thanks.i also added a techmaster song that yall should know and added bass to it cause even tho it was a techmaster song and it's a nice groove it didn't have any bass lol enjoy

  10. i was talkin to a buddy of mine the other day and he was braggin on his system in one of his rides and i asked him what he was runnin and he proudly says" i had a pyramid 2400w amp then i traded up for a audiobahn 800w and i think i gained a bunch of deebees". well i am not one to laugh out loud in a guys face cause he was so happy with his stuff, but i couldn't help but think wow his stuff sucks! lol i aint no competitor or nothin but pyramid?! audiobahn? and it wasnt the hc audiobahn either so i know it sucks. and i went to a car show not too long ago and this guy in this riceburner has PA stuff and his woofers were mismatched one 12 PA and some other woofer might as well been a funky pup cause it sounded bad he really should have kept his trunk closed lol. any other stories for the sharing? ill see if i can find the pic of the PA system

  11. got a couple of pics from my benz that i am currently trying to get right. i had the door panels made by a custom shop, the box was made there also but it came out of my other car which i am debating on selling. the car actually had a whole system put in by a shop. i eventually got bored and wanted more power plus i wasn't too thrilled with the original install. so i and redid some of the wiring took the box out of my other car bought some other goodies and am now here i am. the rear deck lid i am going to have to do that myself to keep cost down, hell the only reason i had the shop do the first install is i had shoulder surgery, had jus bought the car, and i wanted sounds bad but couldnt do the work my self for months.

    the rundown:

two fi ssd 12's copper coils wired to two ohms

    ma audio hk4000d

    alpine cda 9886

CDT audio 6.5w/upstage in front; 6.5coax in the rear( i like rear fill)

0ga everywhere i could put it

dynamat on the trunk lid and rear of the car, more to come

1000cca bat upfront, kinetik hc2000 outback

well here's a few pics... vids to come

  12. thanks i am not quite sure what the alt is putting out it has been rebuilt and went from 13v flat to floating around 14+volts, and thats with a worn belt. so i am guessing that the amps got moved up? so i would say between 100 and 130a. and yes i only turn it up for a few minutes to enjoy a few hard hitting songs then back down to normal beating. i am redoing some of the system this weekend i'll post some pics for yall. thanks again. i'll wont be able to get the HO alt until tax time then i won't have any voltage worries.

  13. i just wanna know if anyone thinks this is good for about 2000w on stock alt puttin 13.9-14v idle and 14v+ engine rev. with 1000cca starter bat and kinetik 2000 in back all 0ga big three and such. i am not a competitor, not lookin to get the full 4k out of the amp, before everyone starts saying how you have to run it at 18v to see 4k. just wanna know if this is good enough to get 2000w for 2 12" fissd's. i have done searches also before i get flamed for this, but the few that wasn't bashing this amp were old ones for sale or people trying to get the full 4k from it, or modding it for 1 ohm use. dont need all that just 2k is fine for me, thanks. :fing34:

  14. Hello there people,

We Stetsom has been in the market for more than 20 years, about 10 years in the USA working with competitors

We are located in Brazil in the city of Presidente Prudente, São Paulo state. We are one of the biggest card audio in South America, an Industrial facility with 3000m2 of built area in a 6000m2 terrain. Automated production capability. Worldwide Exportation. All this makes STETSOM the biggest company in its segment.

    factory.jpg

This is a partial view of one of the assembling lines, STETSOM as assembling lines with modern pneumatic machines that facilitate the high productivity and quality.

and before we sell them to our customers

STETSOM executes the final test one by one of its amplifiers with modern measuring instruments where all the electronic parameters are analyzed and checked.

    3042010111817389.png

We have about 8 lines of amplifiers, but we only have available for export in the USA only the

    Vulcan Digital Line

    Dub ST Line

    Thunder Line

Vemon Line (new line i will talk more about it and they get here in the USA )

The Vulcan Digital Line are most famous line, the line that Alan Dante use to break the World Record of 181.7db

The vulcan Line are Class D amplifiers with a pretty small size compare to some in the market

How we can make high and quality power with a such a small amp ??

Because we use less of higher rated components. They are actually quite impressive(and expensive) parts.

Much better than super buildhouse parts. Not only that, but the SMPS carrier frequency is considerably

higher than other amps, which means they do not need to have as much transformer core area or input/ouput

filter capacitance. That means smaller cores and a directly smaller footprint due to not having the need for

    so many capacitors.

Stetsom dont need to use much transformer core area because our amps SMPS (switch mode power supply)

is HIGHER than other amps then This means that the transformer that it feeds can be much smaller than one connected directly to the line/mains. you know not having need for many capacitors.

it has a P.I.C that controls the power supply and protection circuitry (microprocessor operates on a 20MHz osc crystal )

The P.I.C is our protection mode for the amplifier is a microprocessor that takes care of the amp

Which it helps, on the performance which we dont have to use fuse in the amplifier

The vulcan line is a full range amplifier that they response from 20hz to 15khz (so models goes only to 8hz)

They all have one full range channel output, with a low pass crossover and subsonic filter

    Vulcan digital line Full Range(20Hz a 8KHz) Amplifier with Low Pass Crossover(50Hz a 8KHz)

    1252010114349883.jpg

The Vulcan line has a amazing efficiency performance of 80 to 95%

so you can have a idea

    @ 4ohms 93 to 98%

    @ 2ohms 89 to 92%

    @ 1ohm 83 to 88%

(this is not a test results this is a sample)

that's why are so strong in brazil for daily use, because we have a high efficiency

The Vulcan line is a daily use amplifier, not only for burp like a lot of people think about it

5% of the whole production in the factory for the vulcan line comes to the USA, 90 % of them are use for daily system with music in brazil

thats where we are pretty big, as the Vulcan line has a big frenquecy response, a lot of people use them with loudspeakers and woofers

    like this

The Dub ST Line is a Class D full range 4 and 2 channels amplifier from stetsom

This line is perfect for a installation with one subs and a pair of speakers

you can use the 2 channels in bridged going to mono block channels and use for the subs and giving a nice amount of power to them and use the other 2 channels for your speakers

The Thunder Line is a Class AB full range amplifiers 4 and 2 channels amplifiers

they can be use and just like the Dub St like i said on the top , just use for you normal setup for your speakers

both of this Line has a High pass and low pass crossover in the amplifier to help tunning

    Any Questions ??

sir i am trying to find out the price on your 600.4 and other 4 channel amps. i have the 2k6 and really like it, so now i need matching one for my components. please could you help me out?

Please send me an email if you are a competitor so i can get you the competitor other than that The SSA store should have the 600.4 for sale

Im gonna talk to them about it

    thank you

thanks for your reply, i am not a competitor though, just wanted the 600.4 cause it looks similar to my 2k6 and would make the install that i have much cleaner looking along with more power for my highs.

  16. The benefit of the Stetsom board here is the products are available here also. So far, every Stetsom customer we have had has been very happy.

i have had posts on here for weeks trying to find out the prices of the four channel amps and iv'e gotten no response. i own the 2k6 and would like the 600.4 to compliment it or any of their 4 channel amps do you know the prices?

The pricing we have is of the items we able to carry here (in the lower 48). Hopefully Jefferson will be able to assist in your questions.

thanks i will keep get hold of him.
