i have also heard u dont need as much port area... what would u guy rec. for 4.5 cubes tunned 32 - 34hrz with two 12 icons on about 2krms??

ok so i have built a few boxes now always using slot port and designing them myself and what not... but slot port always takes alot of space up... i am thinking of using aero ports.... now but it is hard to get exact sqin of port that i want...
anyway my q is they displace less air correct... and if so i know it depends on length but is it a dramatic amount

My 12 Q ran fine on the amp settings i have now, would i still have to adjust to differ settings?BTW i want to make sure i have my speaker wires hook up right:
My amp's terminals go... ++-- and if i run 4 wires from the amp to the four terminals on the speaker i should be fine right? Is there a specific way they should go?

not sure if that is the best idea my man... what kinna amp is it i might have missed that but readjust everything... no to coils are the same.. no two subs are the same for that matter....
by the way if your amp is bridgable it most likley your best bet to run it like that to a dual voice coil sub.... depends on how much power what ohm stabilty ur amp is.... and what your subs can be wired too
ps i hate this keyboard.... the one with the space in the middle of the damb thing

far from an SQ sub.In particular tuned to 36hz. That would be a real loud box for that sub though.
i would tune lower in my opinion... gotta have them lowzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Probably clipped the crap out of it.ya u said ur new alt was not in yet so voltage drops..... that will do it.... get ne alt in... adjust gains correctly and u shuldn have any further problems

The way you will have to wire them there will be no advantage over a Sundown 1500 and it isn't very logical to run 2 amps to 3 subs by any stretch of the imagination.THAT WOULD BE A GAIN MATCHING NIGHTMARE IN MY OPINION
