  2. Haha thanks RobClay

Im lucky my sled has hand warmers on the handles and throttle...and a heated seat! oh yeah, cant forget about the hot-doggers. its the best invention ever! Its basicly a closed metal tray that straps on top of the exhaust pipe inside the sled. You can cook hot dogs and whatever whenever you ride! its brilliant haha.

  3. Well I am off to my cabin for new years, we packed more beer than food haha. its going to be cold as fudge, and it will be around -30 degrees...I look forward to that.

Bristol Palin is a slut just to let everyone here know. I know. I went to high school with her...she was always trying to be an attention whore haha and whenever she was drunk she would be on random guys at parties.

  4. Just wanted to say happy new years to everyone here...

WELL. I am off to my cabin for new years. we got TONS of BEER!were going to leave in a couple hours...its 11:05AM, the sun is about to rise! Its in the middle of nowhere, the nearest town is about 30 miles away, no cell phone reception, no road to get there. Its perfect for a getaway. We have to drive our sleds in, were all pulling our supplies with the snowmobiles...there is six of us going there to freeze our asses off...3 dudes including me, 3 girls haha, so we got a good guy/girl ratio of 1:1. BUT it will be worth it for new years, hell yeah. Im looking to shoot something too, dont know what though.

It is going to be -20 to -30 degrees, not including the wind chill factor. Its going to be fun though. we got more beer than food this time. Im just lucky my sled started, its been sitting for about a year or so. we got two 55 gallon drums of fuel for the sleds, so we are going to be riding alot.

I will make sure to get some pics this time haha. Its really beautiful out there in the winter, since there is no light pollution from a nearby city; we can see every single star in the sky at night and it looks amazing. maybe we will even see the Northern Lights!

    later SSA.

    HAPPY NEW YEARS

  5. We get used to it haha. But in the summer, the sun will always be out 24/7 for a week or so in June. Opposite of right now.

Its more of a dark blue brightness, It wont be completely dark till about 4:30. I should take a pic right now.

  6. Okay, so last night it was windy as fudge! and it was snowing about 6 inches...then the power went out for an hour!

SO!, what does a power-spoiled person do? Go driving around and listen to music and hope that the power will be on when you come back haha.

And it was pretty fun driving too. Imagine black ice covering the roads, with a layer of compacted snow that turned into ice when people drove over it...then account for the LOOSE SNOW that just fell from the sky!!! its like driving on a bunch of marbles haha. I hate Alaska sometimes...

  7. It was windy as hell last night, despite the fact that the power was out, it snowed pretty heavily...it was all loose snow over icy roads, so you can imagine how fun it was to drive around.

Its 9:27 now and the sun wont be up until 1 or 2 in the afternoon, just to set at 4pm.

  8. You have 2 fuses in between the batteries? That doesn't make any sense. The current will not change in between the batteries. By Ohms law a 2300W(peak) system will draw 191A, wouldn't I need 1 200A fuse?

The first fuse between the batteries is before the wire passes through your firewall, then the second fuse is after the firewall, both within 18" of their respective batteries. Prevents a dead short should you ever get into an accident, or accidentally drill through or pinch through the casing on your wire.

    Comprende'?

Yeah, what this guy said...It does make sense to me!
