    AA Havoc Vs. Fi Q

the Q is very customizable and cannot be purchased through retail outlets (online only). the havoc only comes in one flavor but you get to work with a retailer/industry professional when purchasing (which some people prefer). it sure does, it's real fuckin' annoying. wait you mean does it annoy him to type like that?

    Smoking Problems @ work

yo J, when you finally kick the habit you will suddenly realize just how gross cigs are. at one point in my life i was smoking over a pack of newports or marlboro reds a day. now, four years after quitting, the smell of cigarettes makes me feel sick. lb: there is really nothing worse than people smoking cigs while you're trying to eat, i'm glad you stuck up for yourself against the majority.

    ports

the performance of your enclosure alignment mainly depends on the vehicle. however there are a lot of other factors contributing how your woofers will perform. start by reading these threads and then trying to rephrase your ? with more information. otherwise it's a shot in the dark, your guess will be as good as mine with the info you provided. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=22849 http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...showtopic=13994

    Welcome to the IHoP

those are good tires as well, my cousin just put them on his s500 coupe and it rides like a magic carpet. not quite the performance of the summer tires but cannot be beat for durability and ride comfort from a performance tire. i like the bfg's sean and ryan are suggesting too. i guess it's pretty hard to go wrong with michelins or bfgs!

    Welcome to the IHoP

i have to warn you aaron, falkens have the worst durability of any tire i've ever used. i've had 3 sets, 3 different cars, 3 different applications and all lasted only 25-50% of their treadwear rating, and i drive very conservatively. based on my personal experience and after working over a year in a tire shop (i know it's kind of embarassing) i still prefer michelins. i have also had very good luck with toyos for performance and BFGs for durability. if you're really strapped for cash go with cum-hoes (kumho). before you have the falkens installed go physically inspect a falken tire next to the comparable michelin or bfg, i can make a pretzel out of falkens with my hands. try twisting up a michelin pilot sport or toyo RA1 with your hands and you will know what i mean. Now you tell me after the tire shop orders them. sorry bout that! didn't notice you were in the market for tires fast enough seriously though, when the tires get in i would ask to manhandle them a little before they mount them, then manhandle some of the other brand tires and you will see what i mean. the sidewalls on falkens are a joke, whereas the pilot sports feel like steel when you try bend them. you can really tell the difference when you mount them on rims, sometimes it would take two or three guys to get the bead of a pilot sport over the lip of a wheel.

yeah it was a pretty cool gift, it's been on hold for the last 5 years but it was nice to finally get around to drinking it. perhaps your little one would like a bottle or two aging for him in the cellar?

    woohoo ups stopped by!!!

sorry to hear that bro, you gotta make sure your holes are lined up with the gasket when you install subs, i guess you know that now though. i know the surround can be fixed somehow, perhaps someone can offer up some suggestions on the correct glue/cement to use for sub repair?

    Welcome to the IHoP

okay i'm totally post whoring tonight but that's alright it's the hop. i'm up in the bay area at my dad's without my dog, home theater, or the beach to distract me. i did, however, get to drink a 1981 cabernet that one of our family's friends bottled and gave to my dad when i was born in '83. definitely the first time i've drank wine that was not only older than me but had a personal hand written dedication on the label (it was pretty tastey too)

    Welcome to the IHoP

my 880 was a pile, there's no way to adjust how fast the remote cycles through commands when using the activity feature. it went a little faster than my equipment would allow, throwing off the activity sequence every time One of the reasons I am going to use CQC, a USB-UIRT, and some uber cheap programmables *I'll make a thread, but not before the rest of my hardware gets here um, please do? It is already that way outside of CA you mean in the real world?

It's the same with plywood. Aside from a worm drive, no circular saws really have enough power to safely use the "plywood" blades. my skil worm 77 does the job, if you're a baller and you want a lighter saw get a mag 77

LeBron in his prime vs. Larry Bird in his prime, who would you root for? most athletes in any sport from a couple decades ago did not have access to the diet and training information we do today. it's not really a fair comparison, i think most run of the mill pro athletes today would dominate the best from twenty or thirty years ago.

    Two 10" SSD build

looks good guys! have you run subs forward port side in that car before? in my '95 coupe the loudest alignment (to the ear at least) for me has always been subs/port back.

    Welcome to the IHoP

lol Another exchange of replies, kid is funny, going to riding his wrong assumptions. But if he keeps serving it up, I will for the heck of it keep making him look stupid, guess I am in the right mood. And again. And again. I am not sure what is more weird, Steve Miller of RD is telling his nut hugger to stop sticking up for his products, or that he is taking my side. But anyway, was a fun topic, as I occasionally love to partake in watching some fool try to attack my product and fail miserably. that guy is delusional. he has yet to point out a valid problem with the icon.
