  1. I like it!

Have you tried how having the SSA logo near the center of the ad? My impression of the ad: world dominance, by some guys, by some company with some nice looking subs. I think by placing the logo near center makes a statement that SSA has been a veteran in the industry for years and not a run-of-the-mill company.

    Just my 2 cents...

  2. so if im going with a saz 1000 watt amp would a dcon nadle it or do i need to go with icon model looking for a single d2 10 or 12

If you're planning to run 1k watts, I'd suggest you get the Icon. I'm currently running one Icon in a ~1.3ft^3 sealed enclosure with ~500 watts and I get quite a bit of 'holy $h!ts!'. I once put it in a 1.5ft^3 ported enclosure but it was too loud for me.

  4. Zed's upcoming new lineup. Taken out of context from their site (for the lazy ones out there).

FYI: Their website is under construction.

The only information that is up to date and current is the 'NEWS' page.

    http://www.zedaudioc.../News/news.html

    Leviathan:

    Output: 150w x 6 at 4 ohm, 300w x 6 at 2 ohm.

Leviathan has several upgrades and changes.

    Draconia:

We are reviving the name of the first 4 channel amplifier to be produced under the Zed name but this new amplifier is a different breed.

    Output: 100w x 4 at 4 ohms and 200w x 4 at 2 ohms.

    In bridge mode 200w x 2 at 8 ohms 400w x 2 at 4 ohms.

    Dreadnought:

Rated at 225w x 4 at 4 ohm and 400w x 4 at 2 ohms it is a true power house in the world of 4 channel amplifiers.

    Bridged power into is 450w x 2 into 8 ohm and 800w x 2 into 4 ohm.

    Minotaur:

Rated at 500w x 1 at 4 ohm and 1000w x 1 at 2 ohm this shall be the smaller of the mono blocks in our line up.

Four (4) Minotaurs may be set up in a parallel/bridge configuration with the main master Minotaur being the only one whose preamplifier controls affect the other three. The output power in this configuration is a total of 2000w at 8 ohm and 4000w at 4 ohm.

    RA:

This remote control is absolutely unique in that it has features never seen before. It is a self powered remote meaning that it has its own internal switching supply and thus is not tethered to Zed amplifiers. It may be used with any amplifier as it is a line in-line out product. RA was designed with only subwoofer duty in mind.

Megalith or it as it may be called Pterodactyl:

(Please send us emails with your vote) to Zed Audio please.

This is the second of our mono blocks, rated at 1,000w into 4 ohm and 2,000w into 2 ohm.

So two of these bad boys bridged will deliver 2000w at 8 ohm or 4000w at 4 ohm.

Hybrid tube-solid state amplifier (The name shall only be announced at it's introduction):

This is a 4 channel amplifier with a completely tubed front end and a new design of linear amplifier for the output stages. Rated at 100w per channel this shall set a new standard for amplification in the mobile arena.

  5. Hi Don, quick question: What's the purpose for the stopwatch?

The HH-66 has to dry for 3 minutes or so before you can bond the pieces. I run the stopwatch next to the piece so I an do other things but still keep track of its progress. You can tell by looking if when it's ready to go, but this is easier for me. I've found I can't track time intervals in my head - what I think is 3 minutes can be anything from 30 seconds to 10 minutes :)

Nice time management tip. I would've never thought of this. Thanks for the quick reply!

  6. Congrats!!!

Now it's easier to spread the word about you guys! Many times friends, buddies, friends of friends would ask what I have for sub drivers. When I show them what I have (1 12" Icon), their jaws just drop and pants are pooped into. The first words are always, "wtf!". And this is coming from guys with sub stages costing more than 2-3 times than mine. Congrats on the fine products you guys put out and congrats on getting back what was always been yours.

  7. I'am tired of waiting. I think i'am going to give up and buy something else as bad as I don't want too.

    LoL

    Good. More for me.

Patience is a virtue my friend.

His line of work is for the true perfectionist and I'm not settling for anything less. Anything else on the market right now is inferior to these upcoming amplifiers. I've been waiting for these puppies for quite some time now. A couple of more weeks won't hurt me one bit.

  8. Well guy, first things first. You need to figure the cause of your problems and find the most... desirable solution; one that won't give you any regrets 10 years from now. You also need to find a way to get away from her and get some space of your own. Believe it or not, you already know the answers to your problems and you already have the solutions; you just need to buck up and do what needs to be done.

You're 19, the whole world is at your disposal. I don't know about you, but do you see her in your life when you're 50? Anyways, wish you luck and never burn bridges.

  9. I wouldn't say 'offend' but more like a disrespect to all their hard work just to be where they are right now. These guys are nice. Most people I know would slap you silly with a lawsuit by the time I'm done typing this.
